at least the weather seemed appropriate...
My mom's friend, a guy named Tom, died last night. He had Melanoma, or some other sort of serious illness. He was one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known. He will be greatly missed.
Otherwise... It rained really hard last night. We lost the music (it's some satellite radio station) at work it rained so hard. However, it's not like the rain was a bad thing. We (and the farmers) needed it.
What else...? My mother left me behind so she could go see Lynard Skynard, Staind, and 3 Doors Down. What kind of mother is she? She said I get to be the designated driver next year. Woo hoo.
Well, that's it I suppose. I guess I'll see you guys later.

woot
ok, realistically, I don't think many people will read this, so I'll keep it short.
I feel better.
I don't have to work this week.
I found a MyO member named Captain Random.
I signed his guestbook.
That's it! That is EVERYTHING that happened today (and a prediction for the rest of the week!)
have a gorgeous rest of your Sunday.

gwa ha ha ha ha ha!
Guess who has next week off?! Tha's right, Krissy does!
But damn, I'm being eaten ALIVE by the freaking mosquitos (and of course, living in Wisconsin means that they are FRICKIN' HUGE BIRD-LIKE MONSTERS) durind band camp (we're ALMOST done!) This one was two weeks long, which is longer than any band camp in the past eight years. Whew, it was waaay too hot though.
Anyway, what else...?
Maybe I could mention this. I am beginning a crusade against crazy fangirls (maybe it's because I'm bored, or maybe it's because these people PISS ME OFF).
They aren't necessarily on MyOtaku, but on the internet in general, there are those girls (and sometimes boys too!) who obsess, in an unhealthy manner, about anime characters. On many occasions I have resisted the urge to tell these people off, but now I'm just getting sick of the lack of a life in these people. So now I am (trying) to form a coalition of people who agree (even just a little) with me on this subject to tell those girls (and sometimes boys!) to get over a drawn character and to find something else (favorably REAL) to occupy their time.
If you want to join the Fangirl Hunters (hee hee hee), pm me sometime. If not, then pretend to be amused by the long paragraph above.
Thanks, and have a loverly day.

happy August first
WHERE THE HELL IS MY SUMMER GOING?! TT^TT
Anywho, I just got back from band camp (v. boring) and I have physical therapy in about an hour.
And I have work tomorrow.
Waah, I hate it that it seems like my summer is just slipping out of my hands, but I'm excited for school to start again. I just love school :3
OK, well, that's about it for now. It's still hot v_v

ok, well, wow
Ginny got back from Europe 2 days ago. Woo hoo!
Anyway, it's been stupid hot for the past few days and that has sucked every ounce of energy out of me. I went to work yesterday and then proceeded to laze about until I went over to Sarah's (a family friend) house to talk to Amy (another fam friend) because she was visiting (finally). She lives in France and is uber cool because she taught English in Japan and is freaking hilarious.
But that's it. I really don't have much to say because it's so damn hot and I still have no energy.
Oh wait, I posted like, 2 fanart-ish things. Don't look at them, because they suck. v_v
See y'all later, mmkay?

"Why such loose socks for work?"
Oh my, I'd nearly forgotten how funny Hare+Guu was. That would have been a shame.
Anywhoo... Couple o' happy birthdays to deal out, Happy Birthday to Nick (last Wednesday- a whopping 21 years old TT^TT (oh where did the years go?!)) And Tanjobi Omedeto to Sarah (heh heh, she gets a foreign language-chew on that Sarah! lol (Sweet Sixteen! (finally)))
OK, so, there REALLY isn't too much to say... except that I have to wake up early and go to a meeting at work because I get paid for it AND it's free breakfast and I have to be up at 6 SO WHY THE HELL AM I UP NOW!! AUGH~~!
Goodnight y'all
(D'ya like the new look :3)

eh heh heh heh
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've been off doing... other... stuff.
Anywhoo, I finally broke down and did it. I got a job. (Goodbye free time, goodbye social life, goodbye leeching money off of my parents (but that's not such a bad thing to say goodbye to)).
I work at ShopKo now. It's rather dull, but hey, it's money.
What else do I have to report... ah, let's see... My friend Hannah (who has been in Finland for the past year) is coming home on the 17th. I just hope I don't have to work (damn job), because I want to go see her right away.
And in case you didn't know, I had knee surgery and all that good stuff about 7 weeks ago, and for the record, I have junked the crutches. I am SO glad they are gone. They were annoying.
Speaking of annoying, I was cleaning out one of the bookshelves in my basement today and I found some things that made me pretty angry with myself. Buried under piles of children's books I found full editions of The Rubaiyat, Tao Te Ching, Nature (by Ralph Waldo Emerson), and The Black Monk (by Anton Chekhov). Now, for most people, they would just put these in the "sell" pile, but I got pissed off. Why? Because in my World Literature class this past school year, we covered ALL FOUR of those writings (or the author, in Chekhov's case) but none of them were the full editions (our literature books were terrible). So now I get to read all of The Rubaiyat and Tao Te Ching. But It would have been more useful to me if I had had them during the class. Grr.
As a final note, does anyone know if I could pick up a copy of The Tale of Genji from a place like Barnes and Noble or would I have to find a specialty store to order it? Thanks. (this proves that I am too lazy to go check for myself ^___^)
Well, for now I leave you to another long spell of me not posting (or not). Happy 4th of July if I don't post again soon enough. See ya.

why has god punished us so?
WHY?! WHY WHY WHY WHY IS IT SO DARN HOT!? I want it to rain...
Anyway, I spent today sleeping and going to graduation parties. But it was still hot.
I guess I didn't mention before that about, oh, a week ago, I went to a rummage sale and found anime (about five complete series and a live-action movie) for a whopping $7. I just finished Scrapped Princess yesterday, and I started Witch Hunter Robin. Full Metal Panic (+ Fumoffu?) will be watched over the summer. Hopefully. I haven't even begun to think about watching Chobits.
Has anyone ever heard of Battle Royale? It's a movie, and I asked Kai (our local Japanese foreign exchange student) and he said it was good, but I need a second opinion before I dive into gore-fest.
Well, eh, only 3.5 days left before school's out.
See y'all around, mmkay?
