Russian Techno! AWRIGHT!
So, Festival of Nations. Terribly crowded, so crowded that we didn't get to go to half of the things that we wanted to. Oh well. I got yakitori. And this thing called a Samosa, I believe. It was good. Very spicy, though. But the samosa was Pakistani. I got this new tote (it's a purse! I swear. Ha, I'm such an addict.) that has a traditional Japanese doll called Kokeshi. It was so cute that I couldn't resist it. Also learned how to speak Ewe (it's "eh-way", not "yoo"). Evidentially it's spoken in Ghana and Togo. It sounded quite a bit like French which, when I thought about it, made sense. Since they (those countries, that is) were colonized by France and whatnot. Yeah.
The bus ride home was fun. My friend Lindsey and I decided that our sleepy little town needs a Discotek so that we can all dance to foreign technopop.
All in all, it was a good day.
But one word of advice: Dancing to said technopop in a crowded bus is dangerous. Don't do it.
(But it was fun. . .)
Have a nice day everyone!
