eh heh heh heh
Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've been off doing... other... stuff.

Anywhoo, I finally broke down and did it. I got a job. (Goodbye free time, goodbye social life, goodbye leeching money off of my parents (but that's not such a bad thing to say goodbye to)).
I work at ShopKo now. It's rather dull, but hey, it's money.

What else do I have to report... ah, let's see... My friend Hannah (who has been in Finland for the past year) is coming home on the 17th. I just hope I don't have to work (damn job), because I want to go see her right away.

And in case you didn't know, I had knee surgery and all that good stuff about 7 weeks ago, and for the record, I have junked the crutches. I am SO glad they are gone. They were annoying.

Speaking of annoying, I was cleaning out one of the bookshelves in my basement today and I found some things that made me pretty angry with myself. Buried under piles of children's books I found full editions of The Rubaiyat, Tao Te Ching, Nature (by Ralph Waldo Emerson), and The Black Monk (by Anton Chekhov). Now, for most people, they would just put these in the "sell" pile, but I got pissed off. Why? Because in my World Literature class this past school year, we covered ALL FOUR of those writings (or the author, in Chekhov's case) but none of them were the full editions (our literature books were terrible). So now I get to read all of The Rubaiyat and Tao Te Ching. But It would have been more useful to me if I had had them during the class. Grr.

As a final note, does anyone know if I could pick up a copy of The Tale of Genji from a place like Barnes and Noble or would I have to find a specialty store to order it? Thanks. (this proves that I am too lazy to go check for myself ^___^)

Well, for now I leave you to another long spell of me not posting (or not). Happy 4th of July if I don't post again soon enough. See ya.
