   business
Lotsa work these past two weeks. Got my first two major projects in school, and got my first job involving the video games industry. As well as my first (unwanted) class transfer in school). As for social life, there've been some interesting conversations and musical discoveries - more on that later.

Working at the World Cyber Games in San Francisco was quite fun. I was on staff actin grimarily as an usher at the ceremonies, and general grunt worker. When not telling people where various events were, my time was spent doing things like getting the boss water, and picking up garbage, and finding food for the boss. It was more entertaining than it sounds :/
The Staff and Players' party on Sunday night was incredibly fun. There was free Red Bull, chocolate cake, cookies, various other sweets and candies I'd never seen before...the food and drinks alone made the whole thing worth it. The giant chocolate fudge cake was a personal favorte of mine. Besides eating I spent my time sitting at a table with the Japanese proffessional video-gaming team, and I think they were very nice. Because I can only speak very little japanese, however, it was difficult to communicate; from what I gather they took very little seriously. Lots of laughter floating around.
Got transferred from one Algebra II teacher to another in school, which pisses me off. It's because they're trying to cut down on class sizes at the school. My former math teacher was really cool, and I was doing good in the class. Now I'm stuck with a micro-managing little dictator...thoough it was quite funny to see him kick a kid out of class for simply sitting next to someone who was talking, and asking them to quiet down. Simply put, this new dude sucks.

Finally, we come to the social aspect of the past several days, which I'm sure all 4 of you who have visited my page are dying to hear about! Now yesterday, Mr. Robertson, whose class I no longer have but whom I still hang out with, burned me the soundtrack to Hedwig and the Angry Inch, one of my favorite movies. I have been listening to almost non-stop. I loned him my copy of the recent Cure CD to burn. Lance and I played with a wrench during lunch today. My mother is still out of town, and donuts and Mac&Cheese are becoming rather repetitive. I can't wait for her to get back saturday.
I'm pretty tired now howeverm and need to get some sleep. So I'll finish writing al this tomorrow. Goodnight!
