Ok, Its about 2:10 AM Chicago time, I got back from a buddy's house a little while ago and jumped online.

I talked to my grandma for about an hour to tell her thank you for the B-day card she sent me. And now she is pestering me to get a girlfriend.
----Rant Time----
Now, its not that I dont want a girlfried, I think it would probably help with my depression to have someone there to spend time with. I see friends, and my brother in their relationships, see the stupid arguments they get into sometimes. I think to myself, "damn, I dont need that kind of headache/pressure right now." Im trying to sell a house, pay bills, take care of my dog, and work. I dont have the time to be going around looking for somebody special.

I dont really talk to my grandma much, not since my mom passed away last June. I mean, my mom was like the last link to that side of my family(we are not particulary close). I do miss my grandma, but she lives a couple hours away in Northwest Indiana, and I cant make the trip due to no money and really no time.

I do believe that this is the first time I talked to you all about my extended family in any detail. They are not people I like talking about for the most part.

Things that happened on April 10th
Ok, so I guess I have to say it, because no one will let me forget it. Today I turn 23, like I said earlier, nothing too special. I dont think that 23 is an exciting age to look forward to. Nothing new happens for you can drink for two years(forgot a few nights), smoke for 5(I dont), drive for 7(Big deal there), vote(whoopie @_@). Not a whole lot of things that are new to experience.

Been watching regular season Baseball, my 6 month distraction is back again. WHITE SOX all the way.

Im going to see Rush in the fall, the Canadian classic rock trio. Their new release is "Far Cry" off of the new ablum "Snakes and Arrows".

I cant wait to see Naruto and Bleach get into the action of the manga thats coming up. I read ahead, so I am VERY excited about all of it.

Later People and dont make a big deal about my birthday, I sure as hell wont.

Why is it called "Good Friday"? Its the day that Jesus was crucified by the romans and he died. Not a good day at all I would say. I have been calling it the "Friday of Death" all day because its what it really is. But then again, Halmark cant sell greeting cards for the Friday of Death as easily as Good Friday.

I get today off, so the paycheck takes yet another hit. A week and a day for Spring Break on this check and at least one day for the next one. Possibly more, but I dont know if Im going to be taking time off for my b-day or day after b-day recovery. Time will see.

Well now, about a week till Im 23, and Im not really too excited about it. I dont know, its just that after 21, there is not a whole lot reason to celebrate/anticipate birthdays. Ill be getting drunk though, you can take that to the bank.

I have to start getting organized for ACEN next month. I have no idea what to do, but at least now I can start getting amped up for it.

Its boring, Chicago got cold, and rainy. And Im here at my dads house all alone. Everyone else is working and I got nothing to do. If was nice out, I could at least go fishing, or golf, or something.

Oh yeah, its like two weeks until my 23rd b-day. I almost forgot about it this year. After you hit 21, its kinda pointless to get excited about it. That, and it will be the first birthday without my mom around. Its just getting to that time of year and I feel myself falling into sad emotions and I really dont see myself getting out of them.

I guess thats why I registered for ACEN, at least it will be welcome distraction. And I get to meet people face to face from MyOtaku. Im really looking forward to seeing the people who voice some of my favorite anime characters. Like Kyle Hebert(adult Gohan from DBZ and others) Travis Willinham(col. Mustang from FMA), Kari Wahlgren(Haruko from FLCL), and Spike Spencer (Shinji from Evangelion), among others.

Spike Spencer's Anime Demo w/ bonus Eva rant.
Ok, so Spike Spencer is going to be a speaker at Acen in May. He is most recognized as the voice of Shinji Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion. I believe recently he is the voice actor for Hanataro in the Bleach dub. So look for him on [ADULT SWIM].

On his website, there is an anime demo of some of his works. Watch until the end and listen to the Eva silly ending that he does. I thought it was funny, so I found it on Youtube and posted it.

Ok, where to begin...

Yeah, Spring Break started this morning, which means that I have until the 2nd of April off of work. Yay and boo. I really could use the sleep to get rid of this throat thing, which is on the way out. And boo because thats an entire weeks worth of pay out the fucking window.


Im paying bills, and running out of the settlement money faster than hell. But Im still esentially wasting money on lot rent because my trailer isnt sold off. DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, Im sure it will all work itself out.

So if you will excuse me, Ive got loafing to do.
