Bears win, Bears win.
I know most people dont really care about football, but when the Chicago Bears beat the Green Bay Packers, its always a good day.
Saw my first episode of Beck on a demo disk, now I pretty much know I got to get it. I mean, the dude wears a The Who hoodie, its automatically good in my book.
Not much else going on, so take care everyone.

Thanks for the well wishes. Good news being that my brothers stuff is covered by our Dads Homeowner's Insurance. So he can recoup a good portion of his fishing gear.
I already started, I bought him a tackle bag, so he has a new place for his things when he gets them.
I got my raise today. Im up to 14.85 an hour! Pulling in 40+ hours a week, thats a nice paycheck. I cant wait to get my damn bills paid off and get some money saved up and in the bank.
Not much else going on, so Ill leave it at that.

Well, the weekend:
Brother got his fishing stuff stolen, really sucks. He lost at least 2,500 dollars in fishing gear.
Friend got pulled over leaving the bar. He blew a .20 and GOT AWAY WITHOUT A DUI!!!!!!!!!!! I am not going into any further details, because I do not know them.
Today:
Was an EXTREMELY long day. Today was supposed to be my moms B-day. She would have been 45 years old today. While I will not go into the emotional details. I would like to thank those of you who have helped me through this. You know who you are. And thanks again.
Im working on putting new fan art up, expect something new soon.
Take care guys

Dragon Wars - COOOOOOOOOOOL
Resident Evil 3 - COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I went to the drive in movie theatre for our little "Drink 'N' Drive-in. Its fun, vodka good.
And no, I didnt drive home drunk.
Dragon Wars, I need to see that one again, it was really cool. Guns, swords, dragons, explosions, Blackhawk helicopters dogfighting dragons, Asain and European style dragons. This movie was great.
Take it easy

Well hello again people.
Im thinking of going to a little anime/scifi con in the beginning of November. By then, I should have my kimono back, and possible have a new one made the way I want it. But its still kinda up in the air at the moment.
Its called Reactor, and its strictly a fan run convention, not so much as a business/corporate con like ACEN is, I really want to check it out.
You can look at the website, if you want to:
http://www.the-reactor.org/faqs.php
I really dont know enought HTML to make a hotlink, so copy and paste it.
Later guys

Do you still remember where you were when the Towers fell six years ago?
I was there in my first period auto collision class, listening to a presentation for Wyotech. (Wyotech is where I went to college.)
After first period, we looked into the cafeteria to see just what the hell people were watching on the TV. I got to that television just in time to see the towers start to fall. Nothing really got done at school that day, not to say for the next week or two.
It amazing how an event can shake the foundations of a world Superpower. We were thought to be insensitive as a people, and never before has this country banded together.
It is unfortunate that I personally do not believe that something like that can happen again to our contry's citezens. Now that we have experienced this tragedy, we have now become desensitized to it. We will feel it, but the sense of country, of pride, of unity, will not be as strong.
These events have shown me that America as a country are extremely biggotted towards other people. What we have done since 9/11 is start a war that can never be won unless this "great" government turns to a religious genocide.
Because what our friends, and families are fighing overseas is not a country, with defined borders. We are fighting religious extremists, who know no borders, know no country. The only thing that they believe is that they have the only right way to think, no one else can exist in their world.
There is a reason I dont post like this often. My views on the world are a touch askew.
this was meant to be a remembrance for the fallen of 9/11. I didnt mean for it to go that far. I apologize in advance if I upset anyone.
Take care
John
