Ive been on MySpace and trying to catch up with friends Ive known since Kindergarten. And seeing them, and what they have been up to, where and how they are living, Ive come to a realization...
Where and when did I fall so far behind everyone?
The people I know can pretty much support my ass if they so chose.
Greg, is a Cop in Milwaukee, and he is trying to get into the FBI.
Dave W, is still in school, and is a music producer, drummer, and successful.
Mike, is a Pharmacy Technician, he used to be a paramedic and also was a fireman.
Brian, is a Project Manager/IT guy at his dads construction company.
Brandon, is an Automotive Technician, and doing well for himself also.
All of whom are at this stage in life, far more successful than I am. Now dont get me wrong, Im happy for all of them, but they are all out on their own, living great lives, and Im bareley existing and am being forced to move back into my dads house. Im just a little depressed, because just about a month away from being 23, and Im where I was when I was 16, at home, somewhat miserable, with very little of a support structure around me.
That being said, I appreciate everything you all on MyOtaku have done for me, your kind words have brought me out of some pretty bad depressions. And Im a better person for it.
