The Chicago White Sox beat the Huston Astros 4 games to 0 in the 2005 World Series. Jermaine Dye was named the WS Most Valueable Player. Pitcher Freddy Garcia went 7 strong innings and rookie closer, 24 year old Bobby Jenks saved the 1-0 shut out and helped the Sox to their first world title in 88 years, thats right for the first time since 1917, you can call the White Sox and the city of Chicago champions.
