I am Sciros Darkblade. I am never too busy to discuss all sorts of subjects with cool people. So if you feel like you just have to discuss the latest anime I haven't seen or the latest manga I haven't read, feel free to contact me through whatever means you feel like using.

Have I returned?
Maybe. I'm not sure. Definitely to MyOtaku, if I get any visitors. Probably never to Otakuboards; that place looks dead.
I have been thinking of submitting more fanart. Maybe I will ^_^
Lots of things to talk about, to catch up on. Let me know you're still around, guys, and we'll do just that. |

Still here
I am not gone, just in case you thought I was. I am just juggling a lot of responsibilities right now, and barely have time to work on my MyOtaku overhaul. Yes, that's right! An overhaul!
I will be back more regularly after that, as well. Expect comments on your posts, a TON of AWESOME FANART, and just generally large amounts of coolness.
Yes, I am a "Senior Artist" you just don't realize it >_> |

CGA Open 2005
My gaming organization, the CGA ("Competitive Gaming Association") is hosting a large tournament this weekend. Games included are Halo 2, SSBM, Tekken 5, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Soul Calibur 2, and Guilty Gear X2. We've put a TON of work into organizing this thing, and tomorrow is when all that work pays off. Hope it goes well! We're expecting quite a turnout as it happens to be in Ohio State University's main student event building. The accomodations are great, there's a food court right in the building, and we have tons of TVs and couches and sofas and tables and everything.
I'm only entering the Smash competition since my Soul Calibur game is a little rusty. And I won't win because there are too many better players coming. But I'm more worried about running everything properly anyway.
Oh well, I'm excited. Sciros out. |

Stuff
Well, the quarter is coming to a close, and so exams and big projects are upon me again. I recently finished a scary database tool that creates frequent itemsets and association rules and then suggests an indexing pattern for attributes based on them. Weee!
I have to finish our Maya animation project this weekend. It'll probably take a whole day to render everything even if I distribute the job, which will be a bother. And our animation looks like trash.
On a brighter note, my website SCIROSnet (see link on upper left of page) is enjoying actual *support* from me! I actually put up new pictures and downloads once in a while! Those interested in catching some good tunes are welcome to check out my downloads page. It is very small, but hey, we're interested in quality, not quantity, right? |

ScirosNet 3.0
I have overhauled my personal website yet again. If you want to visit it, click on the link to the left under "Website." It is a very big change from Version 2.0, and does not yet have *all the content >_>* that was on there before. However, it is much more extensible than 2.0 was, and I made it very easy to work with (PHP + CSS as opposed to Flash), so expect me to actually FINISH it sometime in the next few months. |
