GRE
Well, I took my GRE yesterday (the "General Test," the one with the writing and verbal and math sections). It was sooo much fun, I thought I'd pass out from the excitement. The best part was the ten minute break during which I had nothing to do at all because all I COULD do was eat an apple or something, so I ended up reading an article about haunted houses in Columbus, Ohio. Oh man it was such good reading...
Anyway, I ended up doing alright I figure. Well, my essay scores (which are bullcrap anyway) won't be in for a week-and-a-half or so, but here's my verbal and math:
Verbal: 690
Math: 800
Both are in the 90-something-th percentiles, so that's good enough for me (well 800 is max anyway). I was considering retaking it to raise my verbal score, but since I'm gonna be doing something technical in grad school, and they only care about the math score, I figured there's no point in throwing down an extra $115 or so for another 3+ hours of standardized testing goodness. |
