   THE LAST SAMURAI
This movie was really good. A lot better than I expected. I read Shogun recently, and the movie is similar in many ways, although it isn't based on the book. Anyway, I liked the way they presented Japan, and they did a lot more things right than I had expected. I highly recommend it.
