The Road Home
Watched the road home last night, what a film!
What struck the colour of the past, and the bleakness of the present black and white. The strengnth of love, through time and generations.
There is a lot of symbolism. The poetry in the subtitles sends shivers down my spine. There is no violence in this film, no swearing, no sex, yet it is a mature movie due to it's nature in the understanding of love and life, circumstance etc...
looking for a love story that goes beyond contempory culture, and focuses on old values, give it a watch.
