Drivers Beware!

I got my Learner's Permit today, and you should see me drive! I literally gave my mom a heart attack today, when I powerslid and nearly hit the curb! I shouldn't have done it, but it was awesome!

Round 7

The winner of last round was Seifer, the hot headed gunblader.
This next round will be between Raijin and Fujin, the two followers of Seifer and his Disciplinary Committee.

Though mostly quiet and only spurting loud, single words as a means of communication, Fujin has the strength, power, and demeanor of any male warrior. She stands beside Siefer and Raijin as an element of their "posse."

However, Raijin is very outspoken, rash, and self centered. Also a part of Balamb's Disciplinary Committee, Raijin tags along with his posse to enforce Garden Rules.

Keep in mind, this is the last round of the opening rounds, so the next round will be between characters already mentioned, and either Fujin or Raijin will be permanently knocked out of the battles. Choose wisely, and let the voting begin.

Round 9

The next to final round. Squall vs. Seifer. The two rivals of Final Fantasy VIII. They both wield gunblades, and they're both competitive as hell. This is gonna be an awesome battle.

Squall Leonheart is 17 years old, and wields a gunblade, as said earlier. He is 5;8" was born on August 23, and keeps a somewhat quiet profile. He is an expressionless and distant teenager that devotes his future development in Balamb. Though his ambition isn't shortsided, his team spirit is very much lacking.

Seifer Almasy, a year older than Squall, also wields a gunblade (as said earlier.) He is 6'1" was born on December 22, and his skills make him a powerful warrior. However, his lack of responsibility and incredibly high ego (which feeds his irresponsibility), eventually loses his right to become SeeD. He considers Squall his rival and continually "shows off" in order to ease the pain of his own failure. Head of Balamb Garden's Disciplinary Committee, Seifer is more of a bully than a law enforcer.

2 Notes

1: I'M OUT OF SCHOOL! BWHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! OH, OH, OH, OH, OH! DO A LITTLE DANCE, DO A LITTLE DANCE, DO A LITTLE DANCE!

2: On another note, it's time for round 7 of the Final Fantasy VIII battles. This round is Rinoa Heartily versus the sorceress Edea.

Rinoa is 17 years old, 5'3 1/2", wields a Blaster Edge, and was born on March 3. Although somewhat shy, Rinoa is very straightforward and honest with those around her. Her tenderness, warm-hearted nature, and kind compassion makes her very endearing. She originates from a forest town called Timber, fighting for their independence against the control from Galbadia. Her initial contact with SeeD starts through Siefer, but her feelings become more directed toward someone else.

Little is known about Edea however. She is 5'5", and is a mysterious sorceress obsessed with power. Her lure of control has strongly grasped the Galbadian Army, shifting an enormous amount of power in their favor. With the army at her command and a government conspiracy surrounding her name, the world is gripped in confusion and terror. Her plans are unkown, yet SeeD has learned of her reign and are dispatched to eliminate her.

Rinoa may be weak, but with the help of her dog Angelo, and (huge spoiler) when she gets the sorceress' powers, she is one tough bitch to beat. However, Edea just as powerful and more experienced. This could be a tough battle. You decide who wins. Vote away!

Round 6

This round is versus the two biggest bad guys in FFVIII. Adel vs. Ultimecia. (If you're playing FFVIII and you don't know who these people are I suggest you don't vote on this one. It contains two big spoilers.) Adedl after being revived was a bit rusty against Squall and his friends.

She may well be the second most powerful sorceress in the entire game, due to her massive hp, and her awesome magic. I don't it's very fair that Adel was stealing Rinoa's health, so we'll un-attach Rinoa from Adel in this fight.

Ultimecia is located in Ultimecia Castle (duh!) She is the most powerful, and certainly the most crafty and annoying sorceress, you could ever imagine. She's got so many damn tricks up her sleeve, even I haven't beaten it yet. First there's herself, then there's that lion thing, then she combines with that, and then there's at least one more transformation after that. I've only gotten to that last one once, and that totally screwed me over, because I thought I was done. Honestly, I will be very surprised in this battle, if Ultimecia does not win. I will be shocked and amazed.

Well, I have nothing more to say. Vote away!

Don't pay attention to to this post. I'm just using this to transport a paper from school to my house, because I don't have a floppy disk.

Having grown up with a cold mother (Lorella Cravotta) and an emotionally absent father (Jamel Debbouze), Amélie (Audrey Tatou), a young Parisian woman with a great capacity for love, has learned that it’s safer to keep to herself. She attempts to satisfy herself with life’s small pleasures (skipping stones, daydreaming), and she makes a good go of it, but she knows that she’s missing out on something. After finding a box of relics in her apartment, she decides to find its owner (Maurice Bénichou) and return it; she decides that she will become a spectacular do-gooder, on the condition that the return of the box makes its owner happy. And in all her attempts to make people happy, the one person she has trouble with is herself.
The movie is humorous, colorful, and has “a hypnotic sense of romance.” The Parisian scenery in Amélie is beautiful, Audrey Tatou’s acting is excellent, and each scene is “soaked” with sepia and greens; sepia to indicate that Amélie lives in a dreamscape-like Paris; greens to give the movie a crazy atmosphere, going from one event to the next to keep the movie going.
Raphael Poulain (Jamel Debbouze), Amélie's father, a doctor, doesn't show young Amélie any love or affection and Amandine Poulaín (Lorella Cravotta), her mother is killed by, a suicidal tourist that jumped off the top of the Notre Dame. As a young adult, she is a shy waitress at a coffee shop, called the Twin Mills, in Paris. Many of the coffee shop's regulars are amusing eccentrics, especially Lucien (Rufus), the guy who sits in to watch Gina (Clotilde Mollet), his ex-girlfriend and make strange comments into his cassette recorder detailing her actions.
But, on August 6th, 1997, something happens that will change her life. Amélie hears the news of Princess Dali’s death, the shock of which causes her to drop a bottle cap that rolls across her bathroom floor and knocks loose a tile in the wall. Hidden away in there is an old tin box containing childhood treasures that must have been put there by a little boy a long time ago. Amélie makes a life-changing decision as she lies in bed that night. She will find the man who hid that box away as a child and return it to him. If it makes him happy, she will dedicate her life to making peoples live happy and If it doesn't make the man happy, to hell with it.
While searching for the owner of the tin-box, Amélie finds a young man named Nino Quincampoix, picking up torn bits of someone’s photo. Amélie is puzzled by this as anyone would be. Why would anyone be picking up bits of a torn photo from a cheap photo booth? As Amelie tries to unravel the mystery, Amélie soon become infatuated with Nino and begins a very complex courtship due to her shyness.

Round 4: Kiros vs. Laguna

Dude. Selphie got no votes whatsoever. People must really hate her. Beyblader especially, hated the both of them. I never really liked either of them myself, but Quistis is more calm and collected so I voted for her. Anyway, time for round 4!

Kiros Seagul is 23 years old, wields Katals, and is 6'4". He was born on July 6th, and is a close friend and devoted comrade to Laguna. Though more refined than Ward, Kiros' faith and trust is an equal component for all their companionship. Kiros' Katals move with his arms to transform the users entire arms into deadly knives, allowing Kiros to insanely slash one enemy target several times, causing massive physical damage each time.

Laguna Loire on the other hand, uses a machine gun. He is 27 years old, is 5'9", and was born on January 3rd. Once a proud Galbadian soldier, Laguna later became a succesful and determined journalist. Among his friends and comrades, Laguna is a well-respected and optimistic figure, fueled with a passion to assist those in need and fight those who force oppresion. His good heart and genuine ambition fall prey to a much bigger concern in his life... Where is Elle?

You decide who wins. I think this will be a good fight. Vote away!

Round 4

The victor of the last round was Zell, the cocky martial arts fighter of Balamb Garden. Next up is Quistis versus Selphie. This ought to be a good one, too. Student versus instructor, although, I, personally this Quistis will win.

Quistis Trepe is 18 years old. She is 5'6" wields a chain whip, and was born on October 4th. Joining SeeD at the ripe young age of 15, Quistis' excellent fighting abilities earned her a position as a Garden teacher. Well respected through the academy, Quistis' devoted students huddle together as "Trepies". Though she has a bold and sharp exterior, her soul is wretched with frustration that makes her vulnerable to the sorrow deep within her heart.

Selphie Tilmitt, however is another story. She is 17 years old, is 5' 1.5", and she wields nunchakus to defend herself. Although she exhibits brutal force and total devotion to SeeD, Selphie's kind heart and laid back attitude seem inexhaustible. Transfering from Trabia Garden, Selphie quickly blends in with her new surroundings. Selphie becomes easily intimidating to Squall by exhibiting a fiesty flare, but her courageous, take-charge personage become respected among her classmates and the group.

With Quistis's knowledge and experience, and Selphie's super powerful limit breaks, this could be a dicey battle. A long accurate chain whip, versus powerful, but sometimes hard to use nunchakus. Who will lose? Why don't you decide?
