Round 2
Well, the votes have been cast in, and Cloud beat Zack by a mile. In other news, alot has happened since, Wednesday. I'm surprised I haven't posted about it yet.
There's this girl named Jatna, right? And she's from the Dominican Republic and everything. And we're best friends. We've known each other for four years now. And way back when, we went out together.
It was for like a month, and then we broke up, and we hated each other, for forever. And last year, we sort of let go of our grudges and just said, fuck it. Let's be friends. And we've grown to be good friends and everything.
But, recently, Jatna's been going through alot of emotional shit, like she cuts herself, and she doesn't think she's very attractive or whatever because she's a little overweight, and she thinks no one cares about her or whatever. She basically feels unloved. Period. And I've been trying to cheer her up alot. Cuz I know she's going through all this shit, and, you know, she seems like she's all that on the outside, but she doesn't feel good about herself on the inside.
What she didn't know at the time was that I had started liking her again. And it wasn't like, one day I said: I like Jatna. I guess it was just cuz we're friends again, and we don't hate each other, and because we have a lot of classes with each other and everything.
And she was online on Tuesday and i kept telling her that people cared about her and everything, and telling her all this good stuff about her and everything, and she thinks it's bullshit or whatever. So she made this big speech or whatever, about how she thought she was fat, and she was a bitch, and all she did was read books and feel sorry for herself, and that somehow she came to the conclusion that nobody likes her or wants to go out with her, for who she is; just that she's a girl and guys want sex.
So I told her I like her. I really didn't want to, cuz I didn't think it would work out, especially since she seems so out of my league. It's like, here's little ol' tommy, right? You know, he's cute, but there are other guys out there. And then there's Jatna, right? And yea, alot of people know her. Me and her are good friends, but she's like so popular or whatever, and you know. I just feel like I'm not good enough for her or whatever.
So anyway, I told her this, and at first she agreed with me, and we just talked for a little while. And then at the end of our conversation she said that whenever people ask how many boyfriends she had, she only says one, and she names me, even though she TECHINCALLY went out with like 4 or 5. And she says:so if you still think it won't work out thats your decisione okay. And then she just signed off. That's what left me speechless, that one night. I mean, I was SHOCKED.
I was STUNNED. I felt like, someone froze my vocal cords and I couldn't say anything. She caught me so off guard, that I didn't know what to say. I was speechless.
This post is taking a bit long, so I'll finish this later. Also, I can't forget the next round. Here goes:
First up in the arena is Barret. You big, masculine black dude from Final Fantasy VII. He is extremely strong (judging from his muscle mass) and has a gun grafted on to his right arm, alowing him to shoot from long range. However, if he pleases, he can also graft sort range weapons, like his trademark "Atomic Scissors" that you can steal early on in the game.
Going up agains Barret is Rude. The silent, but deadly member of the Turks. Tall, probably relatively strong, and equipped with a pistol (although in the game, he prefers to use his fists) Rude is an excellent fighter. He was trained well, and would have to be, to be a member of the Turks.

I thought this was interesting.
I saw this on someone else's site, Terra Zero's (or maybe it was Terrazero, not sure...) site, and thought it was sort of fun, and unique. It's this battle thing, Terrazero was talking about. He said he noticed it on other peoples sites and said he decided to do it as well. I'm going to call it the Final Fantasy Preliminarys, since I'm going to be doing alot of it. Everyone gets one vote, and I might even make a fanfic about whoever wins each... uh... fight(?). Here goes:
First off in the ring is Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII. He mainly wields a large sword named the "Buster Sword." He has this long complicated history with a guy named Sephiroth, and a bunch of other different people. He's one of the most skilled swordsman in Final Fantasy VII, uses a "the best defense is a strong offense" strategy, and is a force to be reckoned with.
Zack. The person that Cloud semi-took the identity of. If you've played Final Fantasy VII and have heard of Advent Children you'll know exactly who I'm talking about. Before he died, he wielded Cloud's Buster Sword. Zack is more carefull about his fights. He chooses to defend himself for the most part until he finds a weak spot or a fault, in his opponents attack patterns and uses it to his advantage.

Dissapointment
Man, I'm so dissapointed with Square Enix. They keep delaying all this Final Fantasy related stuff, which is the best Square has to offer if you ask me, (particularly Advent Children) and all they have to show for it, is just more of. what I'm sure will be a broken promise, release dates, that have been pushed back for countless times now. It annoys me. I realize this is a humongous year for Square, but still. Square needs to get its act together.

I feel very lightheaded and happy today
I feel very lighteheaded and happy today. It has to do with why I was speechless last night in fact. But, anyway, I just feel very happy today. Very happy. Like, really happy. And, I seem to be looking at life in a new light as well. It's all very strange. Nothing like my regular personality. I'm usually a pessismist who tries not to be surprised by too many things. But I'm surprisingly happy and lightheaded today. Not sure why. Sorry if this post is really redundant.

Have you ever, been totally speechless before? Like, something just left you totally SPEECHLESS? Sure, you hear stories about it, but you never actually SEE it, let alone it happening to you. (Actually, it's happend to ME several times.) But, once again, I've just been left completely speechless. COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS. I mean, so many things are going through my mind right now, I don't know where to start. Actually, I'm just tired and don't feel like posting this late. I'll probably post about it tomorrow or something. But, seriously? I really HAVE just been left speechless.

What is it with all these girls and there emotional problems?
Oh my god.(!) I just had the craziest/most serious/ridiculous/most hilarious conversation with my friend Jatna. She's in the 10th grade, just like me, and she came from the Dominican Republic. She's 15, (yay! I'm older!) and... yeah.
And, oh my god, she is the most stubborn, *struggles for words* ....... person(!) i know. And it sucks! She still cuts herself, and even though every fiber in my body says tell a teacher and a parent, because she's one of my best friends (and i like her) i don't say anything! why?????????
that's one of those really good questions that you can never seem to find the answer too. Like, you know how some stuff, like, works, but defys all logic? Like math? Yeah. Exactly.
God! I'm rambling! And she thinks no one likes her or whatever, and that she's looked around and crap, and no one really likes her or whatever, and then i kept asking her why, and insisting that people really DID like her, like wanted to have a relationship with her or whatever. Really it's just me, but I wanted to make her feel good about herself.
And then she just says... maybe i shouldn't say it... aw to hell with it! She said because no one could like someone like or whatever ! She said "No one could like someone as screwed up as me"
My heart just sank. She's my best friend. I like her. She always seems like nothing really bothers her, and all she really has is this face like: fuck off, like alot of punk girls have on their face. And I know she cuts herself, and I know she doesn't feel to good about herself, but, i didn't realize that's exactly how she felt. (I wonder if she opens up to other people like this?)
But it was so hilarious too. I know you're thinking: What?! How can you say that?! but just some of her reactions were funny. I thought some were just hilarious.
Well, now that I got that all off my chest, I don't have to talk about it anymore, I can use proper grammar, and I don't have to ramble anymore. I actually feel much better now (not really, j/k), and I better get going because I have to take a shower soon. Ttyl!

One-Winged Angel
Who plays Final Fantasy? Ooooh! I do I do! *Waves hand in the air like a maniac* I finally got One-Winged Angel, the final boss music for Final Fantasy VII on cd. I downloaded it off of somewhere off the internet way back when, and just thought about how I might be able to put it on cd, since it was an mp3 file. And I could! I'm so happy! I've been listening to this song non-stop! I love it!
