   Nyarck...
*sigh* Hello, all. I'm really tired, so I'm gonna try and make this update as sweet as possible, including the next scene on the ficcie. YAY!

Itachi: *waves lil Uchiha fan* Woo-hoo...

Okay, so right now, I'm trying to find some good MIDIs for the song, because, I dunno, I like the Hinata vs. Neji one, but... *shrug* I've been hearing some other good ones, but since the song I have now just got on there, I think I'll wait until the NEXT layout idea I get. Speaking of which, I think this one's here to stay for awhile, because I haven't gotten any new layout ideas, so... *noticed that the whole paragraph has been one sentence long so far. Ah well. Forget me rambling. Read scene on ficcie, enjoy, whatever.

Oh, and for everyone's text information, bracket information.

Itachi: ....*snicker*

Alright, {{these}} mean that it's a dream. Alright? Alright. Enjoy.

Rowan sighed as he walked through his high school’s front doors. “I hate school…”
He walked down the hallway, rubbing his forehead. He hadn’t gotten much sleep the night before. He had had a strange dream, and the only part he could remember was that his dream reminded him of Hell. It was fiery, and had what he thought were demons going around. But, it also reminded him somewhat of Earth…
He shook his head, ignoring some of the poseurs looking at him. He rolled his eyes and scoffed.
He reached his locker, throwing a few things in and slamming it shut, as he happened to have one of the worse lockers in the school. He shifted his backpack, which was really just a messenger bag, to the other shoulder as he started walking down the hallway to his first class.
As he sulked, walking down the hallway, a girl he knew, and often loathed, bumped him rather hard on the shoulder. He muttered an apology, then stopped and smirked as he heard the girl say behind him, “Watch where you’re going, Demon Boy…”
Rowan turned around, still smirking at the girl who bumped him. She was his age, and she was wearing a bright pink shirt with a denim miniskirt to match it. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and her annoyed green eyes glared over her shoulder at Rowan as he snapped back, “Sorry, Jasmine, didn’t mean to bump you… Brand names are terribly hard to miss nowadays…”
Jasmine scoffed, rolled her eyes, and shot back, “At least I’m not the one caught wearing hand-me-down clothes or cheap rags like you and your friends… Speaking of which, is it Halloween or something in your world? You look like a vampire.”
Her friends, who were standing behind her, giggled.
Rowan’s smile grew as he said bluntly, “Yeah, must be Halloween in your world too… I’ll give you a bit of advice on your costume,” he took a step towards her and looked down at her, smiling as he continued, “You see, when I try to be a bitchy poser… I try to at least steer clear of the fake eyelashes and blue mascara, ‘kay?”
Rowan turned on his heel, starting to walk away when he heard Jasmine say behind him, "Yeah, your taste leans more toward black..."
He turned his neck, cracking it a bit, then whipped around, and going back to Jasmine. "At least I have a sense of reality," he said harshly, continuing, "It doesn't really matter what you say, because I can see that you're just a poor rich girl, with a helluva lot of time on her hands. I'm not asking you to go with it; I'm not even expecting you to agree with it. Just want you to know, that those guys out there? The ones that comment you all the time? I'd be surprised if they even looked at your face." He shrugged, continuing bitterly, “To think, all those hours you spend in front of the mirror, all the coordinating you do, and all the ‘popular’ friends you make, none of it really matters. Society sucks, don’t it?”
Rowan gave Jasmine a smirk, turning and noticing that a good number of people had been paying attention to their little conversation. He whipped around, knowing he had to get to class, and shoved through the students that were still looking to them. He sighed, whispering to himself, "Three... Two... One..."
After he said "one," Sato tackled him from behind, hanging off from his neck in a piggyback position. He sighed, tugging on her arms so he could still breathe. She said ecstatically, "That was GREAT! Did you think of all that off of the top of your head?"
"Sato... If you want me to live to tell you, stop strangling me..." Sato huffed, jumping off of his back and walking next to him. Rowan rubbed his neck, looking to Sato and answering her question, "And yes, I did think of all that right now. Why? It wasn't that good..."
"You burned her sooo bad! It was awesome!" Sato clapped her hands together, smiling. Rowan sighed, saying simply, "Yano, if yer brother had seen you jump on my back like that, he would've killed me on contact..."
Sato rolled her eyes, nudging Rowan teasingly. "Aww, yer no fun... Besides, I think Sasuke is in the middle of class right now. Unless he saw us through a window or something..."
"Knowing my luck, he probably did..." Rowan sighed, shuffling through a classroom door with Sato on his heels, wishing the day was over already.

{{My God…}}
{{Rowan was standing on what seemed like the only land on Earth. The rest was a fiery mess, with demons darting in and out of humongous pools of lava. Rowan glanced around in horror as he watched the demons eat up whatever land or vegetation was left. One of the demons tried jumping at him, but he jumped to a lone rock that was in the middle of the ocean of magma. He uneasily shifted to one side of the rock, almost falling off. The rock started to melt into the lava beneath him, and his terrified eyes looked to the demons that had overrun the entire planet. The rock melted completely, and one of the demons let out a shrieking scream as it lunged at him.}}

“AUGH!” Rowan jerked awake in the middle of his biology class. He hadn’t even known he’d been sleeping, and he looked around clueless as a few people sitting around him snickered. The professor turned and said to him, “Rowan… If you need more sleep, get the extra hours on your time, not mine… Just stay awake in my class, at least.”
Rowan sighed, murmuring a “Yes,” and resting his head on his desk again. Only now, he was wide awake. He glared thoughtfully at his desk as he thought about his nightmare he had dreamt only moments before. The difference between other dreams… He could feel the heat from the lava. He had heard the demons shrieking. He shuddered at the thought of the dream, and was even more scared when he realized that he had liked it.
He shook his head, as if clearing it, and sat up, trying to pay attention as best as he could.
