   Blarg...
Guh... Second day. Another long ficcie scene.

Itachi: *picks up newspaper that has his "big puppy Sharingan eyes" picture on the front* ......THE CRAP?!! What'd you do?!?!

Ugh, just be glad that I'm not drawing fanart of it... Which I will be eventually, by the way. *ebul smile*

Itachi: ...NOOOO! *gets 300% more serious* And I did happen to notice that in the last entry of your ficcie, you named Sato's older brother after my little brother. Grr, some fangirl you are- *gets hit wif a huge baseball bat*

I AM NOT A FANGIRL. And for your information, I came up with these characters LONG before I even heard about Naruto. So, there. Aye, right. Enjoy the... *checks* infamous murder scene. ^_~

Itachi: *pulls out Kunai knife* I got yer murder scene right here... *grumbles... rips up newspaper*

It was night. A few crickets chirped through the tall grass in Rowan’s front yard as he slept. He had a rather erratic pattern of breathing, which showed he was having another nightmare that was a lot more different than the first.

{{“We have good reason to think you are guilty.”
He shifted in the seat, turning his head and cracking his neck. “I didn’t do it.”}}

Rowan was more jolted awake than anything by a bloodcurdling scream from his front yard. He shook his head, jumping out of his bed and getting dressed in old jeans and a T-shirt rather quickly as he half-ran, half-crawled in a rush down the hall and out the back window. He started to the front yard, looking through the waist-deep grass as he heard sirens in the distance. So… Someone’s already called the police? A bit quick, isn’t it…
As he made that note, his foot tapped something strewn across the ground. He peered down, and fell back, covering his mouth. The dead body of his neighbor, who had held a harsh grudge against him, lay across the ground, with no sign of life in his eyes. Rowan uneasily knelt down, audibly gulping and checking the man’s pulse. No pulse.
Rowan stopped, looking around and seeing a pistol on the ground near the man’s body. He shuddered as he heard the police cars pull up only yards away from him. A few police officers jumped out of the cars, aiming their guns instinctively at Rowan. Rowan’s eyes widened in horror. “H-hey! Need a bit of help here! My neighbor has no pulse!”
The police officers slowly walked through the tall grass, still keeping their guns ready while staring uneasily at Rowan. One of the police officers knelt down, looking over the dead body. He glanced over at the pistol lying near the body, then glanced at one of the other police officers. He nodded towards Rowan, and one of three officers surrounding Rowan asked calmly, “Son… Would you come with us?”
Rowan looked offended, but nodded, following the officers to one of the police cars.
Meanwhile, the inspector had put the gun in an evidence bag while a few pediatricians lifted the body onto a stretcher and carried it into an ambulance.
“What do you think?” the inspector asked the chief of police as they watched the ambulance drive off towards the hospital.
“I think that that kid is a pretty good suspect… We can’t be sure until we have that gun fingerprinted and an autopsy done on the body. We should keep the kid in custody until we’re sure, though.”
The inspector nodded, soon getting into one of the police cars. The chief of police got into the same car as Rowan was, and soon all the police cars drove away from Rowan’s yard.

***END TRANSMISSION***

Itachi: Okay, NOW the story's gettin' good...

*rolls eyes* Sure. One mention of murder and you're all over it... Alrighty, see ya later, y'all.

Quote of the Day: "Yeah, I heard what she said, and personally, I think she could fit more than just part of you in a blender."
