Tis midnight...
Ok, I've been up all night drawing sketches of General Grievous - and my little sister is so proud of me ^-^.
But anyhoo, I'm going to be really bsuy tomorrow or I should say today, so here is the weird dream I had a few nights ago. It's got a lot of action and pizaz. Crawl inside my head and see if you like it ^-^....
Giant Alligator Death Dream:
I had this dream that started out as me and the family going on a vacation to this strange city that was more like a giant water park than it was a city. Then my family kind of disappeared and my mind took over.
I was running around this intricate tower half in the water and half in the open. Well first I was running on a large bridge from this gater in armor he was designed a lot like Varkayis but his armor he had silver armor and was very dark green. He had read eyes and a really cool spear with a moon shaped knife- thing on it. I was in a white bikini bathing suit and those Nike run barefoot shoes. Using my blue energy powers I started bringing down pillars, statues and parts of anything that could break off easily from my surroundings and block his path to keep from following me. However due to his size and armor he was just plowing through everything that I was throwing at him. Until I pulled down a large bronze statue and he ran into it with the loudest clang I had ever heard. I rounded the corner and slid down the spiraled pathway and stopped myself against the railing that bended around the next tower. Catching my breath and smiling I looked out over the calm ocean-blue water, and to my horror saw the dark outlines of four more large armored alligators. And they were heading for a marble landing filled with vacationing people! Summoning energy, I leapt from the balcony, and spiraled over head gracefully in a motion that seemed slow and gorgeous as waves of azure swirled around me. Upside down, I pulled my arm back and thrust it forward releasing solid beams at the gathering foe below, and attracting the attention of the people on the landing and in the water. The armored lizards erupted from the water to take evasive action, revealing themselves to the crowds, some began moving in alarm but not enough to clear the area fully. The lizards fell back into the water as I completed my last three arcs and landed in a fighting stance on the marble landing. And they headed for me like jet-skis! I began shouting for everyone to get back, and the panic gripped them. The people began running and screaming in all directions to get away from the water, but not fast enough. Four pillars of water shot from the waves and each armored foes landed solidly on the marble, cracking it beneath their three toed- clawed feet. One was light green with silver armor carried a moon naginata, another teal with black armor large axe, the third brown with tin colored armor with maces, and the last tan with dark rusted orange armor large gloves over his hands with Insanely huge metal claws and a spiked tail. Their armor was all designed the same way, helms that covered their snouts with armor but split and grooved at the back of the head to allow them to open their mouths. Segmented pieces of armor splayed like manes from their heads and followed the spine all the way to the tail. Their chest plates shaped like the jaws of some terrible beast, the long cut teeth encircling their chests. Their arms and leg were armored sparingly to allow them more agility, their thick corded muscles seemed tougher than the shining metal plates that enclosed them.
The people screamed behind me, and the terrible foes before me roared and slavered in anticipation. With no armor, innocent civilians everywhere, cornered, I felt things couldn’t get any worse, when a ferocious cry sounded overhead. Our eyes turned upward and focused on where I had come from, as pieces of a bronze statue and other debris exploded outward and plummeted to pierce the water below. I cringed as the powerful form of the first gator warrior emerged from the smoke and set his dagger red eyes upon me. Blood ran from his helm down the side of his maw and onto the armor at his chest his teeth gnashed in the lust for battle. Thrusting his weapon at me he bellowed fiercely: “Take that human! But leave her alive for me!” The cry that sounded from his troops in my direction was enough to turn blood to ice. I checked the energies around the area; all the civilians were soundly gone, and a wicked smile crossed my face. Energy blasted from my open palms knocking the brown and light green gators back into the water, their energized bodies sizzled the water. The other two lunged forward undaunted. The claws of the tanned beast grazed my skin just barely as I crouched and dodged backwards as he struck. The claws hammered into the marble and stuck fast. I kept moving as the axe of the other fell and gripped it twisting my body with it’s momentum and pulled myself under the blade. Spinning I knocked my assailer in the jaw knocking him backwards and pulling the weapon away from his grasp. I twirled his weapon behind me as I landed and stood before them with confident poise. Not too shoddy for a girl in a bikini. ^-^
But my glee was cut short as their commander slammed into the marble amidst his troops and snarled. The two I had knocked into the water were crawling back onto the landing, their faces set in fury. The sound of wrenching metal and stone rang out as the tanned creature hauled his claws from the marble and the dark gator rose to his feet and snorted smoke from his nostrils as he faced me. I lost my composure and looked at them all slowly advancing, intent on tearing my limb from limb. I couldn’t take them all, not like I was. I raised the axe with a cry infusing it with blue energy and brought it down on the marble, cracking it in a straight line. As my foes staggered on the shaking landing - I turned and ran around the side of the tower. I had to find somewhere to hide and fast, or a better weapon - I just had to get away. Then in the pool styled tile I saw an oddly shaped door with water running down into it. I pulled it apart like a jigsaw puzzle and looked down. It was a slide of flowing water that lead down to an unknown destination, but it was well lit. As thundering footsteps and terrible shadows began to creep round the corner - I jumped in closing the doors behind me and slid down. I slide through endless streaming water, tumbling over and over - but it was fun spiraling and turning ever down, until final I was expelled into a giant pool of blue water. I went under with a splash and let myself sink for a moment, content in the cool blue watching the bubbles dance around me. Then I straightened my body and floated upwards. My head broke the surface and I swam to the edge and climbed out. The room around me was domed and made of white marble and white pool tiles, with blue trimmings. Soft waterfalls poured in and ran down troughs into the pool. Across from me were three people sitting in front of a massive command console, and for some reason there was an open locker room complete with gray lockers to the right- go figure. I recognized one of the people as one of co-workers from the Docks, wearing his usual red shorts and gray worn shirt with no sleeves and his red do-rag. I don’t recall the other - he was some white guy. The third I knew by heart.: Adros (A creature of my own design ^-^ He is a rare breed of Meta-Shifter. Just imagine a human form about 7 feet tall, blue armor connected to strands of black organic material and a faceless oval head with brilliant green eyes. We have a strange intimate relationship.) I call his name as he works furiously at the controls, we have to make tracks and warn the people of the city to get out of those things’ way. He turns and rises from his chair towards me, just a look from his eyes lets me know that he understands. My co-worker blurts out: “We’re doing everything we can to evacuate the city, all the defenses and security officials are on the move, but in the interest off all, I will have to ask you to leave the city immediately.”
I nod in agreement - then the wall in the locker room explodes and the beasts come charging in. The white guy rises to meet them sword in hand, but he is cut down by an axe and then ripped apart by the black gator and the light green one. Adros begins pulling me back, as my co worker backs away from the advancing lizards and opens a panel in the control console.
I try to fight off Adros, they’re going to kill him! I break free and start forward, Adros reaching for me And just as the commander snaps his jaws around my friend, he presses the red button inside. The console suddenly erupts, engulfing the armored creatures from view. The shockwave hits me soundly, knocking me back into Adros and then we sail through the air into the water. I feel the surface spread and wash over me as I hit, then the feeling of the sudden cool clams me as I sink downward. Huge chunks of wall and ceiling plummet into the water after us, closing off the surface. Then I feel Adros pull me close, his body shifts and opens to pull me inside. His body flows around me, driving off the cool and bringing warmth as I close my eyes and lay inside him, like one lays inside a mech suit. I feel the organic fluid wrap gently over my nose and mouth, the connectors attach gingerly to the back of my head, and my eyelids pull slowly back. Through his eyes I watch the last glimmer of light fade from view as we sink together into the watery darkness. Then I finally breathe…and I know it is not the
end.
That’s the short version - believe me! There is so much more detail that I forced myself not to put in cause it would take so long!
This dream is really special to me b/c it’s the first one that I’ve had with Adros in it. But this is typically how my dreams are: in depth, massive detail, me fighting against really nasty things (not necessarily scantily clad mind you) and is a precursor to another dream. I know those alligator guys are going to probably show up tonight, or maybe next week, or maybe I’ll have the same dream again, but it will be longer next time. Hope you enjoyed a night inside my head ^-^ !
