CHAPTER 2
"This cave is your father's house Jordan". "Where is he then" Jordan asked. "He should be here any minute".
They waited in silence for five minutes. Jordan heard it first it sounded like the flapping of giant wings. Then a giant shadow appeared in front of the cave entrance. The shadow had giant flapping wings, and large glowing eyes
The shadow came into the cave and growled "who dares to enter my cave without my permission". "Give it a rest Ikarus" said Jordan's mom. "Rose is that you" the giant creature said.
A river of flames appeared lighting torches that lined one side of the cave. Now Jordan could see the creature it had a long neck a horn on it's nose, and one on both sides of it's head,it had red scales, long sharp fangs, golden eyes, a long scaly tail, and huge leathery black wings. In other words it was a dragon.
"Hello Jordan i know you don't know who i am in this form but i'm your father" said the dragon.
The look on Jordan's face was that of complete disbeleif. "M my father was a human" Jordan said still stunned. "Yes i know see i was turned into a human by King Arthur during the middle ages because of the dragon hunters, but the dragon hunters found out centuries later so they killed me while i was human causing me to turn back into a dragon.
