One of those days that you wish the drive lasted forever...
Ehehe...long title, but not quite as boring, ne? I probably won't have many people reading this, since it's late at night, but hey, whatever works.
Yep, while we were driving to the funeral home, I thought I'd be fine, until we were about 5 minutes from it...then I just wished that we could keep driving forever, and I'd never have to go to that funeral. But of course that was impossible...It didn't help matters that my step-father decided he wanted to come, and since my mom had to take her car to the shop, he drove us there and back...I'm still angry with him for all the lies he's fed us and all the crap he's put us through, and so the ride was extremely awkward. I just put on my iPod and zoned out so I didn't have to pretend to hear him.
Well, I cried like I knew I would. Luckily, I wasn't a complete mess, and I was able to keep it together for the most part. I only needed 2 tissues *proud* I had more than a few times when the tears filled my eyes, but I was able to blink them away...and I felt much better after the burial. Now, it's sort of complicated, but since we're not his actual family, we were wrongfully deprived of a few things, but...his real family is mostly dead, and all that's left is his brother and his sister-in-law, as well as a great-nephew that he never knew. The sad part is...the last physical contact he had with his brother was a fist fight, where his brother pushed him onto the ground and kicked him in the ribs. And his sister-in-law is like a vulture - she's just trying to get the little bit of land he had to his name. So we sort of had a reception separate from them. I felt much better after the burial, because we all just went to my aunt's house, and since it was a small group of immediate family, we got to eat and chat in comfort. We shared the good times and the fond memories, and we all felt better. I also got to see my cousin for the first time in forever, since she lives in Ohio, and I was happy about that.

Well, thanks for those of you that actually read that for letting me vent, I sorta need it.

I also have some bad news...I got the results of my challenge test back today, and I found out that I bombed it like I thought...I'm in the lowest, most basic class, Math 1....which, to be frank...pisses me off...excuse my language, but the least they could do is put me back in Algebra 1. I'm worried I won't be able to cover everything I want to in 4 years' time. And what confuses me the most is that I also got back the results of my standardized testing today, and I got the highest score possible on my math, a 99 out of 99. I got like a 706 or something out of I think 750 (These numbers are approximate, I don't have the paper in front of me, my mom took it to look at it). It was called "Distinguished", or a 5. And if I did that well, but placed that low...what the hell am I getting myself into with this HS?

Forgive me, I'm getting very worked up, and I'm sort of blowing up on you guys, I'm sorry.

Let me just switch over to comments.
Thank you all so much for the warm wishes and consolation, you guys have been there for me this entire time, and I really appreciate it!

Magnus-san - That's right! I forgot you were leaving in a week!! Well, I'll be sure to be one of the first to welcome you when you come back, then! We're all going to be the ones missing out, Magnus-san, I look forward to your questions the most ^^ And yeah, it was fun ^^ I hope you can do it sometime! ^^

JD-san - HAHA! Do I know my VA's, or what? ^^ And old rock is great, too, I also happen to like those bands ^^ They're not my favorites, but they're most certainly not my least favorites, either!

Lytjuh-san - I used to be scared of things that went upside-down, but now I love them X3 Yeah, I hate most rap, too, but there are a few exceptions to every rule, am I right? ^^

Onii-chan - Yes, I actually read this comment last night, and I kept you in mind, and I actually was able to imagine you there ^^ It helped me out a lot, actually ^^
Everyone seems to dislike rap, we should start a "Rap sucks" club or something XD

J - That comment is extremely difficult to comment on...XP

Oh, I almost forgot the question...
This has nothing to do with anything, but...
Can any of you speak more than one language? If so, what are they? And are there any of you whose mother tongue is not English?

My mother tongue is English, and I'm working on Japanese, as you all know...I also know a little bit of Spanish, because I took it for about 6 years, so...I also know a tiny bit of French.

Take care, everyone, and thanks again for being there for me, it means a lot *hugs you all*
Ja!
