new bands

So, one week ago, on August 14, in Japan, a new band was formed from the ruins of Pierrot. Kirito, Kohta, and Takeo have formed a four person band called "Angelo". Their first single will be released on November 8th. It's called "Reborn". I'm excited. I'm gonna buy it. I don't normally buy singles ($14 for three songs is a bit much), but it's their debut. I'll fork it over for their debut. And on August 5th at Otakon, Yoshiki (producer and drummer of X Japan, now just a producer at Extasy Records, which is a company X Japan started) announced that he was going to form a band together with Gackt. They'll be touring the USA in 2007. Other band members and tour dates are yet to be announced. So, I'm excited about that, but I'm too tired to be excited. I got about six hours of sleep, then I took a shower and now I'm exhausted. Showers make me sleepy. Not to mention, I haven't talked to anyone in like, a week. Not my best friend, not anyone. Because my best friend is a bitch and she never checks the emails I send her. She checks all the other ones, but not the ones I send her. Because, like I said, she's a bitch. Neither of the people I send my story to have given me feedback, one of them for two days, and my best friend, for five or more. SO, guess what? They don't get any more story until they give feedback. I'm sick of having to beg and pester people to get them to acknowledge I exist. I'm going to go read Angela's Ashes, wherein people throw up blood, live in their own filth, have lice and fleas and don't wear shoes, get typhoid, diphtheria, have ten kids because they're Catholic and can't not have kids even though they have no money to support them... Filthy book. ~SJ

There was a commercial on TV a bit ago for Dirge of Cerberus (the new final fantasy 7), and I just about had a heart attack when it came on cuz the first thing I hear is Gackt's voice singing Redemption... I went tearing into the living room like as if Gackt himself were on the TV, even though I knew it was just that commercial. The graphics for that game look incredible. My sister already ordered it and it's already shipped, so I'll get to see it soon. Yay! ~~~ I worked on my haiku(s) a little bit today... I wrote about six but none of them are good, or at least, none of them really carry what I'd intended for them to... Well, they sort of do, but they kind of suck. I don't expect to win this contest, and I might not even tell my mother I'm entering, since you enter thru email and not thru snail mail. ~~~ So, my mother has a vegetable garden, y'know? She always has one. Last year she found praying mantis egg sacs... This year, there's four large female mantises and two smaller male ones in her soy bean patch. I was just outside looking at them. The females are like five inches long and the males are about three. They're so cool. I love praying mantises. I like to hold them. Last time I held one, it insisted on crawling up my arm and into my hair, even though I was standing right next to some plants he could have gone into. And there's also a garden spider in the tomatoes, which is creepy/cool. Yay wildlife. Lol. Oh yeah, check out my fanart page, I finally added something. Two cute pics I drew of Kirito. ~SJ

blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

I'm sleepy. It sucks. I want my Pierrot album and my Purple Sky magazine. The Pierrot album should be here Wednesday, but my mother hasn't even sent the check for the magazine, so god knows when that'll come... Soon, I hope. Anyways, the haiku should be written by Tuesday... For right now, since no one ever emails me, and I don't go on Neopets anymore since it tried to give my computer viruses before, I have nothing to do, and after I write this, I'm going to go upstairs and read and try to draw Kirito. Not in that order. Kirito first, Angela's Ashes last. Did I ever tell you guys I got my hair cut? Not like it matters at all to you since you don't know what I looked like in the first place, but it used to be long and now it barely reaches my shoulders. When I take a shower and it dries on its own, it ends up flippy-outish. It's much better than long hair. Welp, I'm gonna go try to draw, force myself to read, and other such stuff. ~SJ

Another goal

So here's my goal, outside finishing my novel and writing a good haiku: I want to draw a good picture of Kirito and Kohta together. (They're brothers. Kohta played bass in Pierrot). And then I want to send said picture into Purple Sky Magazine and maybe they'll print it. However, I can't draw people much better than I can write haiku. Why am I giving myself so many challenges?! Because I'm stupid, that's why. ~SJ

Incredible as it may seem...

I think I'm almost done with my over-300-pages novel! YAY! I mean, almost done plot-wise... Really, not much else is gonna happen... Of course, there's one more thing that could pop up, but I'm not sure it will. Regardless, once school starts, it'll take me longer to finish it because I probably won't be able to write daily. This story is 343 pages long. The longest thing I ever wrote was 405, but that was a fanfic full of random stupid crap and low amounts of plot. Yes, I did just insult something that took me ten months to write and people fawn over like it's the best thing since caffeine. But regardless, I'm not going to be like, "OMFG I gotta write 65 more pages so that I can beat my record!!!" Cuz this isn't about records, it's about story, plot, and relationships. After I finish this novel, then I'm going to start with my bounty hunter and the assassin, and get back into fantasy, where I won't need to know anything that deals with reality, because it'll be MY damn reality, DAMMIT! So take that! HA! Also, I've decided I'll be writing my haiku about spring and rebirth. YAY. ~SJ

To answer moogleboy: I don't know that a guy with a bitch for a mom would try any harder than anyone else, except that maybe since his mom was a bitch, she would either 1) beat him if he didn't try hard, or 2) he wants to impress her so she won't be such a bitch. While we're on the subject, I don't understand why people called people "son of a bitch" unless they mean "bitch" as in "dog" and are then calling someone a dog, because really, calling someone a "son of a bitch" is actually an insult to their mother, not them. But that's not what I'm talking about. What I'm talking about is, I think I'm going to order the first issue of PURPLE SKY magazine so that I can have the Kirito interview that's in it. *nuzzles imaginary magazine* Ki-ri-to... I haven't written my haiku yet, but I will. I have "haiku" written in three places on the left side of my body so that I will remember. (well, really, it washed off of my ankle, so now I just have it written twice on my left arm, once in sharpie and once in purple glitter pen...) Regardless, hopefully I'll write an award-winning poem and win an autographed CD. *floats off to dreamland* Now I just need to win a free trip to Japan and a VIP ticket to one of his concerts and I'll be in absolute heaven. Even though I don't speak Japanese very well and going to Japan would probably suck. Maybe they'd lend me a free translator while they were at it. Hahaha. Nothing exists that would be that generous to a teenage girl who lives in a town that the rest of the world doesn't know exists. ~SJ
