Yesssss. I have nothing to worry about right now. My work is in the hands of the pS editors. (or at least, sitting in the inbox of one of them). My only concern right now? I had no idea how to do my math homework. Quite literally NO IDEA. NO. IDEA. It was pretty upsetting. Also, after doing like 3 out of 9 questions, I came down here and got on the computer and it took me AT LEAST HALF AN HOUR, yes, half an hour, to write ONE SENTENCE. ONE. SENTENCE. And not cuz I was procrastinating, either. It was cuz writing CD reviews is more difficult than you would expect, especially when you've had no prior experience with such things. life is dull like always.

Life = dull. Like woah, man. So tomorrow I have standardized testing all day. *looks enthused... NOT.* So like. Yeah. The extent of things? Standardized testing = B-O-R-I-N-G. However! It also means... YAY! Total blow-off day. Honestly. And right in the middle of the week. And I need it. I've got work to do and I've just started and it's due on Friday... How about this for crappy: I have two months of school left, and the only breaks I get from this point on (well actually, since Christmas until the end of the year) is a three-day weekend for Easter and a three-day weekend for Memorial Day. And yeah. Like... yeah. Just... Argh. I would have had more for easter/spring break, if it weren't for snow days (which I DEFINITELY APPRECIATED when they happened. Because I hate snow and cold, and not having to go out in it is marvelous). On the up side... After April 16, all the hard work for this year will be over. Well, until finals. Whee~! Failure! And then next year, the only hard work I'll have is..... CALCULUS! and ADVANCED PLACEMENT LITERATURE! In which you apparently spend weeks analyzing classic poetry. And a couple boys in my math class were talking about it today. And apparently one of the poems they read, they interpreted that it was about a Grandma having sex. .... I'm NOT looking forward to AP lit class next year. But anyways... I'm procrastinating. Remind me of this in five or ten years when I have a full-time professional writing job. Be like, "Remember back when you wrote for that magazine in high school, and you procrastinated like crazy? Don't do that with this job. Because, like... yeah. Just don't." And will I listen? I doubt it. A lot. Like crazy lots. ~sj once again, though, I am planning on trying for a job this summer, and I'll have something to put on my resume this time! I just hope I don't need a signature, because... my bosses are all in New Jersey... And I'm not.

I doodled it during american history class the other day... i'm bored as hell. the good news? I finished my samurai paper. the bad news? I have more homework and things to give me a headache and make me feel exhausted. Mostly, the plotline for this damn novel. Wtf. I have no idea what should happen. But I have to pull up some sort of BS so I can submit it to this stupid contest that I both want to win and don't want to win... If I don't win this year, I could always enter and win next year. Maybe I'll write a gay samurai novel next year. Ugh.

I just checked my "overall top artists" on last.fm and Pierrot is at the top with 100 listens. Exactly 100. Awesome. The next nearest is ORANGE RANGE with 73. Then Dir en Grey with 70. I looked at that and was like "DAMN FUCKING STRAIGHT PIERROT BETTER BE #1!" XD Though if Pierrot wasn't #1, I'd only have myself to blame for not listening to enough of their music. Tsk on me. I've been listening to them nonstop for a couple hours now, though, so it's all good. Anyways, my samurai paper has progressed on to being 13 pages long and i'm not done yet. Almost done. But not quite. It won't pass 15 pages. If it does I'll be like "WOAHLY THUNK. That's a lot of pages!" But I'll definitely finish it tonight. Rock on. Then I have to go through and put another space after all my sentences cuz apparently we were supposed to put two spaces after all our periods and whatnot and I didn't know that cuz my teacher never said it. So. That'll be fun. Fifteen pages of sentences to put extra spaces after. Blargh. ~sj

ADD cure?

Does anyone have a cure I could try out for the awful "start writing a paper and instantly feel restless and start emailing people and writing myotaku posts and whatnot" issue that I have? It's seriously a problem. I can't concentrate on anything for very long... I'm like... Blah! Look, a butterfly! *stares at wall* I'm tired, too... I need a change of music... I've been listening to the same CD for six hours. I was asleep for about three of that, but still... six hours is a long time. It gets very repetitive. I just don't know what else to listen to. I've got like 65 hours of OTHER music in this damn machine... you'd think I'd be able to find something... Hello, "All Music -> SHUFFLE". I love shuffle. It's a wonderful creation. I was listening to my mp3 player on shuffle in the car on the way home from Gettysburg today and I got a large percent of Pierrot and Dir en Grey... Almost every other song was one of theirs... Anyways, I should be writing a paper. I'm so tired. ~sj

favorite thing ever

the GazettE's song "The Murder's TV" is one of my favorite things ever. Another of my favorite things ever? DEATH NOTE. That manga is fucking CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK. I AM SO ADDICTED TO IT!!! IT IS SOOOOOOOO GOOD. I WAS READING IT ON THE BUS TODAY AND I WAS LISTENING TO PIERROT AT THE SAME TIME AND I ALMOST OVERDOSED ON THE CRACKNESS OF IT!! IT MAKES ME HAPPY!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! ~sj That's my craziness for the day. I'm gonna listen to a techno-y dance beat song now. YAY.
