This morning, I was walking down the hill towards my bus stop and slipped on a patch of ice. I fell on my ass and it hurt real bad and I think I have a giant bruise. It was closer up to my back/tailbone area. Otherwise it probably wouldn't have bruised. As it is, I don't know for sure that it has... but it hurts real bad when you push on it. If I hadn't flung my hands down and caught myself, I would have landed on my back and hit my head off the sidewalk. And then I would have not gotten up for a while. Whether it was because I got brain damage, a concussion, or just 'cause it hurt real bad. I wouldn't have gotten up. But it really was a very funny situation. I was walking along, stepped in some innocent looking snow, and my feet went out from under me. "OH!" I hit the ground. "FUCK!" I dragged myself to my feet, laughing and limping. It was priceless. I wonder if I do it again tomorrow morning, will be it as funny the second time? Cold weather is a safety hazard. ~sj

eek!

I let one of my fellow creative writing class members read the first four chapters of my novel and now every day since then, he's ravenously asked me for a new chapter. GAH! He's like the crazy fans I had on fanfiction before I vanished from there and never posted again! They were like, "OMFG POST! YAY! NEW CHAPTER? I LOVE YOU!" It was fun then! It's not fun now. ~sj

I have a five-hour-long playlist of english-speaking bands, and I sat here and listened to the whole thing. Amazing. I've been sitting here twitching for a bit, though... I'm like, "Gah... Want. Listen. Pierrot. Want listen Pierrot. Want! Listen! Pierrot!" But I'm on the last song on the playlist now... So I can listen to Pierrot soon. Or whatever other random band I feel like listening to. As long as they don't speek English. ... Apparently I don't speak english well, either... At least, I can't sp[ell.i t. Don't you love typoes? ~sj

I was listening to this one Pierrot song... I don't even know which one now, and every time I hear it this one word (probably really part of a word) pops out at me: "abite". Every time I hear that I think I should know what it means. Then suddenly I realize that I'm thinking of "habiter" which is French and means "to live" and despite it looking like it should be pronounced "habiter" it is pronounced "abite" which is why it kept popping out at me in that song... I highly doubt Kirito knows any French. He doesn't know a whole lot of english. So there are French and Japanese words that sound alike. Shit. I have a new French teacher, too... she's older and speaks way too much French and doesn't repeat herself in English like our other teacher always did... She goes on and on in French and then goes "Oui?" as if we knew what the fuck she just said. We're all like, "Uh... sure?" I don't like her. *sigh* Definitely not taking French II next year. Oh well. I was writing last night and fell asleep in front of the computer. Then I went to bed and slept for 11 hours. Yay! ~sj

Do you have ANY IDEA how difficult it is for me to type "nanaban" and not continue on for a "nanabanana"? "Nanaban" means "seventh" in Japanese. "Nanabanana" is just so much more fun. (nanaban was one of the passwords on one of my documents... I took it off because I'll forgot it eventually and that'll be bad) ~sj

China's gonna turn gay.

In 15 years, it is estimated that China will have 30 million more men at a marriageable age than it will have women. That brings these theories to mind: 1) Guys are horny, so they'll all turn gay just so they can get laid. 2) China's population will finally decrease. But that's in fifteen years. Someone may blow up the world before then, at this rate.

Anyone going to Katsucon? I think purple SKY is gonna be there. I'd like to go. I feel odd corresponding with people I work for but have never met and probably never will. O.o My best friend is grounded from the computer for a freaking week. Shit. That's gay. Beyond gay. That's like... super gay. I'll have to call her tomorrow and ask her what she did. I would email her, but that would be a bit pointless. Maybe she killed her brother. That'd be cool.
