I have a playlist on my computer entitled "random junk." It's four hours long. I have a freaking lot of random junk... Anyways, guess what! I finished my Japanese project and I did my presentation and everything is completely DONE and I am HAPPY and the STRESS that accompanied it is GONE!!! I can WRITE!!! I haven't written anything at all in a week and a half, and before that, I didn't write anything to my novel for two or three weeks. I was just writing random little crappy junky things that had nothing to do with anything. But last night I wrote five and a half pages of chapter 11 of my novel! Yeah baby! Suck that! My back hurts. I'm sad, though. I want to write something humorous, but I can't think of a plot for anything humorous. All the humorous fanfics I wrote before didn't have any plot... I don't read any humorous books, either. I've been attempting to read Terry Pratchet's Monstrous Regiment, which was recommended to me like... five years ago... But I started reading it, then I had to read a book for English. Then I started reading it again. Then I had to read another book for english. So I just gave up. Because we're going to start reading a new book in a week or something. So I just give up. But I do want to write humor again... I don't have any humorous characters... Actually, I kind of have a vague idea of a story, the main character would be female, around my age, and resembling me in many ways, and I know a very vague plot, but past that, I'm lost. I don't know enough plot to write it humorously... So that's basically down the toilet. Ugh. *sigh* Oh well. ~sj

good news!

My Japanese paper that was originally due on Jan 8 is now due on Jan 12!!! YEAH! So I don't need to stress about it so much. I have about 20 more sentences to translate. I'll have that done in a matter of [several zillion] hours. Do you know how hard it is to translate an entire paper into Japanese when you barely know shit? WAH! It's difficult. And I was just on a website looking at colleges... ugh. I am so very frightened of college. I don't know where to go, I don't know what to do... I just know that I am NOT going to my town's college. Because I HATE my town. I don't know anything more than that. Except I do know that I want to stay on this side of the Mississippi River, thank you... And preferably somewhere south of New York but North of South Carolina... if that makes sense? There's like this little box in which Pennsylvania is kind of central. Though I do know of someone who is going to UMASS... that's not really north of NY... it's kind of halfway up there. And I know of someone who is going to UGA... that's below my safety range... I don't want to go that far south... Even if it is a good college. So... Urgh. Schoolwork... college... life. Life is evil. It's an EVIL, HAIRY little bastard! *kicks life in the ass* Stupid bastard. ~sj

I just had a scary moment where I looked at the computer, then I looked down at my math book in my lap, and the pages were all HAZY AND PURPLE! My eyesight is going bad! It's too bright in here! New Year's Resolution

My New Year's Resolution (I have to write it down somewhere so I'll actually feel obligated to stick to it) is to lose weight. Like... I'm gonna do ab exercises. And hopefully lose some weight overall. I mean, I'm not fat. I'm 5' 9" and somewhere between 155 and 160 lbs... That's only like five or ten pounds over the 'recommended' weight for my height. Not fat. But. Not fit, either. I want to be comfortable enough with my body that I can actually show skin and not feel gross. XD Right now I'm not. So, that's my new year's resolution. I should take measurements now and then if I remember to hold to it, measure myself at the end of this year and be like, "SUCK IT!" XD Inspiration to be skinny: Miyavi, Bou, Uruha, and the vocalist for Vidoll (I don't know his name, but he has nice legs). ~sj

I remember...

I remember why I like Dir en Grey and the GazettE but I hate Slipknot. "Fuck it all, fuck this world, fuck everything that you stand for. Don't belong, don't exist, don't give a shit, don't ever judge me." "Walls! Let me fall! Fuck you all!" "Fuck this shit, I'm sick of it! You're going down, this is a war!" Are those enough reasons? How about these examples from the gazettE: "The pure love song sung in the month of April, smelling sweetly of the Spring breeze..." "Why? I don't even know you, but it pains me so. I don't understand but I love you." Now... let me remind you of Slipknot: "FUCK ME! I'M ALL OUT OF ENEMIES!" gazette: "Will you smile at me if you are over the pain and everything is healed one day?" Yeah. Need any more reasons? I didn't think so. Neither do I. However, Slipknot does have some songs where they don't cuss as much, and the GazettE has some songs where they DO cuss a little. We'll not talk about Dir en Grey. I don't like 90% of their lyrics... If you need further reason to like the Gazette more than Slipknot... See? They're pretty. ~sj
