how about....
So yesterday, I went to bed at 6 and got woke up by a squealing baby at 11:23. Count them. That's less than 5 1/2 hours of sleep.
I made up for it today by sleeping from 5:30 until 3:18. That's the latest I've slept all summer.
Not the longest. I think I slept 12 hours once this summer. Early on, before I started going to bed at 5:30 regularly.
But the latest. I don't know if I've ever slept until after 3 before unless I was sick. Which I'm not. I'm hungry, but not sick. I really should start eating breakfast before I go to sleep. I'm always hungry by the time I go to bed. I eat one meal a day. That's not healthy, I know, but by the time I get up, it's only a few hours until dinner, so I just wait. And then I'm not hungry again until like 4:30-5 o'clock-ish, and I doubt my mother would appreciate me scrambling eggs before going to bed, so I just don't bother eating. I just go to sleep and forget I'm hungry. Then I wake up and take a shower and then I feel so hungry I might puke. Which, needless to say, isn't good.

I'm reeeally hungry. But it's like, an hour and a half until dinner. But I'm REEEALLY hungry. Ergh.
