Damn.
My betta fish died.
I saw it coming about three weeks ago when he started laying down on the bottom a lot...
Then he started swimming sorta sideways... and laying sorta sideways on the bottom...
Then he swam okay for three days, but never ate.
Now he's laying very still and very flat and very dead on the bottom, on his side. Kaput. Dead fish.
I saw it coming, so I'm not upset. I don't get upset over fish. I had three fish for like six years and they all died and I didn't really care.
Fish are pretty to look at, but if you can't touch your pet, then really, you can't get attached to it. Or at least, I can't. So, he's kaput and I don't really care. I may or may not get a new one. I had this one for a month and a half or so. I don't feel like spending $4 for something that looks pretty for a few weeks, then dies. Don't get me wrong, it's still pretty, but it's also pretty DEAD... Stupid fish.
