   Yay!
We won the competition thingy that I missed school for... I got some major sunburn on my arms and some on my face... And I wasn't even in the sun much. I was outside all day, sure, but I was in the shade. I guess my nearly-white skin gets affected more easily than other peoples'... *sniffle* It hurts. It's only on part of my arm. The outside and the back of my upper arm, and it hurts really bad. I don't think I'll get any tan from it (I better not! I like being accused of being undead), because I have concluded that I do not tan. I just burn. I don't turn tan, I turn red. There's some people who just tan and don't burn, well I'm the opposite. Anyway...
I have to play the bottom part in a flute duet in front of the the 7th and 8th grades in a week and a half, and I just got the music today. I'm fourth chair flute player and I have to play with the first chair player. In front of the seventh and eighth (how do you spell that, honestly?) grade... I don't know why. It's the 8th grade awards ceremony and I'm not sure... I think we might get an award for it or something... If I don't screw it up. ^_^ I'm so optimistic. With that attitude, I'll never be able to play it. It's actually not that hard... I mean... It's only got four sharps... (that was sarcasm, for all you un-musical people. Four sharps is a major pain in the ass for me... They translate to three flats and one sharp, but they're not written that way, so it's hard to keep track of.) I have to write the Gettyburg address tomorrow for a test grade. That's peachy. I also have to take a test to see if I'll get an award... D.A.R. award... It's for history. Bleah. I hate history. Anyway, I'm rambling. I've gotta go. ^_^ Cya.
