After a good night sleep and reading my last post I think I overreacted a bit, comparing the place where I’m suppose to work with Bronx was a bit harsh, I mean sure it’s a complicated neighbourhood with some complicated and dangerous people but nothing so close to that place! I was so frustrated and uhmmm the best word to describe is disappointed with this work that I overreacted and was somehow to rude writing about it, and mostly it was sad to see those kids acting like that…
Some of you said that the place where I live seems to dangerous, its not really true, sure there’s some places where you can be in danger, but I’m sure every country you visit or live have places potentially dangerous, ne?
I love living here even though sometimes it doesn’t seem like I do, heh =P
Anyway I won’t give up or leave this job, I’ll continue going there, someday they will have to accept me! So I went there today it wasn’t so bad, the kids kept showing up like little lambs from the huge apartments and surround us, surprisingly enough they didn’t thrown rocks at us, they just limited to surround us playing with each other, watching what we were doing and getting us all worried because they were playing in the middle of the street with garbage crates, doing races with them, it was quite funny to watch but really scary at the same time we feared they could get hit by a car, so we tried to make them understand that it was dangerous, that they could get really hurt so the best was to stop doing that, and surprisingly enough they accept it, I couldn’t believe when they nodded and just got down from the crate and went playing with something less dangerous!
A lot of mothers from those kids got close to us and made us a lot of questions, if we were going to take care of them, why we were waiting there and why we weren’t really playing with them, the problem was we were waiting for our instructor, he gave us orders that we shouldn’t do anything until he arrived and he will bring things like paper, pencils, colour pencils, etc for us to play with this kids, but he never showed up, we waited and waited and nothing!
I mean this men said how careful we should act towards them, how worried he was for letting 3 girls all alone in a place crowed by kids that act terrible wrong yesterday,and then he didn’t showed up today?!? It’s insane!
Aside that, work wasn’t so bad today, when it was time to go home some even waved goodbye, so I’m relieved and a bit glad to know that some of them are nice.
I do hope tomorrow our instructor comes and brings the material to really start playing with them or we could loose the little trust they have in us now, and THEN we might get in trouble, but if he doesn’t show up I swear we are going to call his boss!
I can’t end this without thanking you all for your patience and support, I’m really sorry if I seem rude or mean or even stupid, it wasn’t just the work that I was frustrated and mad but lots of things including my own self heh! Unfortunately you have seen my bad side which I promise it’s the last time you’ll see it XP
So I’m back to my old self again heh I just needed to whine a little and mostly have a good night sleep XD, so I really thank you all for your patience and support with all this *huggles*
