The Afterworld is back again
And hopefully for permanent this time. I'm starting to upload the character profiles, and after a while, I'll get to the storywriting/drawing out. Just submitted the first character profile too. There's five main characters: Darius Williams, Quinten Thayer, Dani Duchesne (say duShane,) Jessica "Jade" Flaherty and the most important charcter, Jayden Costa. They're mostly based around my crazy friends that go to the other high school in terms of looks and personality (except Darius, but I might give him a personality like one of my other friends I don't go to school with.)
Speaking of these crazy friends, we're all going for a free trial of tae kwon do later this afternoon (angel kitsune got us the idea) and I'm probly gonna stick with it no matter what. (And yeah I know it seems a little late to start, but I've been hoping to take a martial art for a long time I just couldn't find the time.) I guess that's it for now, I might be back later, probly. But for now, this is the Sarge signin' out.
8:40 PM. I'm back, and I so wanna go into the tae kwon do free trial class now and I am totally gonna take this. Good thing there was a friend to help us. (Okay, I admit it! I know angel kitsune in real life, her name's Stephanie, and now I fianlly met devil kitsune, Stephanie's boyfriend of 1 year today.)
Also got inspired I'm gonna incorporate this tae kwon do stuff in both Super Spy High and The Afterworld. Should be good, I mean, every hero character needs a way to defend themself, right? Anyway, I guess I'll be back to busy at work on the drawings now, and til next time, this is the Sarge signin' off. (bows head)

Hope I'm not too late
Sorry, I wanted to avoid April Fools Day like the plague (I'm too easy to fool, seriously,) but I'm back and my friends gave me a new idea today. I'm still working on Super Spy High, but now I'm gonna start on the third incarnation of this story I came up with last year called The Afterworld.
That's right, the third. First one had three characters— a spiky-headed leader-type Dwayne Harris, a slave to fashion named Krista Vieira-Stone, and a gangsta/Goth mix (very weird, but very cool-lookin') named Daniel Okotie— fighting against whatever forces dared to cross thru a strange portal connecting the realms of the living and dead. Second incarnation knocked off Daniel and added in Spirit Charms, mystical artifacts found in the Afterworld (the realm of the dead) which endow the user with strange powers.
This new incarnation will hopefully be here to stay. It's very loosely based around my life and my crazy friends and my family and their families. Can't say for sure it's gonna stick, but we can always hope, right? Anyways, I'm just taking a short break from Super Spy High to get ideas about this one moving along. Then I guess I'll switch between the two stories for a while. Just thought I'd let y'all know what's takin' me so long, right? Well, I guess that's all for now. I'll be back not too long from now, I guess. Later.
Random new word: Snowing + raining = snaining

Problem with development
Remember how I said hopefully I'd have that character profile pic up by Sunday? Well, the scanner's going weird and I still need to scan in and color a couple more pictures. I dunno how long until it fixes, but I won't be done by today, is all. I guess that means for now I'll just visit everyone's sites and keep drawing and waiting.
Anyway, hopefully I'll have it up soon, I just didn't wanna let it get in the way of Quarter 3 exams this week. Too bad that didn't work out, but anyway, the Sarge'd best get goin' now. Later.

Idea forming
Okay, y'all know how a while back I promised I'd get up a pic of each of the 12 Super Spy High characters, right? I dunno why I didn't think of it sooner, but now I'm working on making one big page for 6 of the 12 charaters, the big 6. But I guess it works out too, cus I've changed the way I draw them just a little.
I was hoping I'd have the group profile up for tomorrow, dont think that'll be possible now. I got one done, two more inked and ready for the scanner, but the other three I'm not even close to done with yet. Hopefully I'll have this up before Monday, when Quarter 3 exams start. >_< Anyway, I better get back to workin' on it, so til next time (not to long from now,) the Sarge's signin' off. DISMISSED!

Moving slowly again
Finally back after to long a wait, sorry about that. Cold's cleared up, but not feelin' to good still.
That topic headline it's true. Shure, i made a little progress on the first episode of Super Spy High i'm drawing up (really Episode 2 in order,) but why the slow down? "Why aren't ya where ya should be in the story?" I can hear you ask me that, c'mon, go right ahead. Well I guess it's cus I've been caught up in tryn' to catch up in schoolwork. See, I got my report cards last week and my grades have REALLY dropped. I got a 45 in Chemistry this quarter and Cs and C-s in pretty much evrything else.
I've got one problem with every class: Classwork in Geometry, tests and quizzes in English class are torture with questions always asking for details i have no prayer of getting right, Portuguese the only class I'm doing great in is moving to slow, History homework takes to long, and Chemistry she asks for showing all your work or gives you a 0 and i can't finish in time and the rest is history.
I feel like I'm getting dumber and dumber each day to, i don't like what's goin' on. I dunno how I'll ever make it to junior year, it looks impossible from here. It's just too much work, i can't take it all and i can't do it all. Dunno what I'll do, just know I'll be back here again when things are lookin' up.

-_-
I hate bein' sick. I feel like I could collaps every time I get up to walk, and I've been coughin' all over the place. I thinking I'll start right with Super Spy High Episode 2 and get back to Episode 1 when I got a better idea how to start the series. But I still got a long way to go on Episode 2 anyway. Sorry I ain't been around lately, I just've been to busy. Anyway, I can tell ya now I'll definetely be back again. Dunno how long, but til then this is the Sarge relievin' ya.

Super Spy High slacking
The title says it all— I gotta take a break workin' on it for a few more days, I gots another project now. My cousin's gonna throw this Chinese-themed slumber party for her friends, and thou I'm not going, I'm the artist in the family and she asked me to make some drawings and decorations for it. She's gonna throw it Friday afternoon, so it's not like I'm gonna stay off Super Spy High for a long time. I just need to get done some pics of Chinese dragons and empresses in robes, that's all. But on Friday it's back to the same old grind for me. And… hopefully I'll update again before then. But even if the Sarge don't, til next time he's relievin' ya. DISMISSED!

Super Spy High summary
Well, I ain't got alot of time tonight but i thought I'd use what I have to re-post the main breifin' of my manga Super Spy High. Here's a little heads-up for what's comin':
-----------------------------------------------------
--SUPER SPY HIGH--
As its name suggests, it's about students at a boarding school in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in trainin' to become secret agents. Instead of some classes there’s a rigorous three-year course to train their students to be spies, and everyone who goes to Espionage Island’s gotta take it. The school has two main buildings and four dorm buildings— Connery, Brosnan, Moore and Lazenby.
Over 1200 students from thirty different countries have passed the challenging Super Spy High entrance exam, and they make up the seventh graduating class of Super Spy High. And in a place this huge, anything and everything will go wrong. With action, suspense, drama and skintight leather pants, Super Spy High is not your average boarding school.
I've said it before and i'll say it again: Super Spy High's got 12 main characters. But for a while, y'all only gotta concern yourselves with these six:
Tyson “Ty” Avila— The main character in Super Spy High, and by far the most complex. Ty is from Kill Devil Hills, NC and is a born leader. Despite not being the oldest of his graduating class, he can still keep control over the situation as a tough-talkin' military-based alter ego he calls "the Sarge." (Yeah, I based him off me but gave him a different name. Surprise, surprise.)
Ty has a mixed background of Portuguese- and English-American parents. He shares a room on the first floor of Connery dorm with Kris Bennett and, later on, senior Montana Ali. His signature move is the "Sergeant Drill"— he slingshots off the wall and into a dizzyin' midair roll to unleash an unpredictable attack. One tactical maneuver y'all don't wanna be on the wrong side of.
Kristian “Kris” Bennett— One aggressive L.A.-native, who demands he be call Kris. Sure he acts real mean, but somewhere DEEP under that tough, gritty exterior beats a heart o' gold.
Kris’s name doesn’t tell very much about his background, as he’s Indonesian through his mother’s side. He and his roommate Ty tend to get in a whole lot of fights. His signature move's the "Fist of Fire," a flip attack which ends in a mega-powerful punch (or sometimes a blast from a hidden weapon.)
Samantha “Sammy” Anderson— One punk-rocker-in-training you do not wanna mess with. She's best in hand-to-hand combat and was vote "Roughest and Toughest" in the yearbook at her school in Dublin last year. (She doesn’t have any accent, though.)
Sammy shares a room on the first floor of Connery dorm with Ayesha Ali. The two usually get along very well and borrow each other’s clothes on a regular basis. Her signature move is the "Sonic Boom," which includes a loud battle cry and a drop-kick with all her power.
Ayesha Ali— Sammy's L.A.-born roommate is an aspiring hip-hop fashion designer who even makes her own clothes. Turns out her best tactical maneuver's disguising her and her friends, and now she's workin' on a virtual disguise computer.
Ayesha also shares her fashion tips with her friends and often lends her clothes to her roommate Sammy. Her signature move is the "Master of Illusion," which makes use of a hologram generator to make a ton of false copies and confuse the enemy.
Longwei Liang— Hailing from Shanghai, Longwei has been assigned a dorm room to share with Hunter Tashiro. The room’s next to that of Ty Avila, and Ty and Longwei quickly become best friends. Longwei’s quick-witted sense of humor and ability to tell crazy stories attract a lot of other friends too. Longwei specializes in stealth tactics, and his signature attack, the “Tiananmen,” is a full-power attack comin’ from out of the blue.
Hunter Tashiro— Hunter lived in Honolulu all his life and now he’s got a dorm room with Longwei Liang at Super Spy High. Hunter is unbelievably relaxed in almost any situation, though there are a few weak spots that can really get him worked up.
Hunter is of Japanese-American descent. His specialty is reconnaissance, and his signature move is the “Hana Road”— it combines fancy footwork in twists and turns with gradually increasing energy. (Oddly enough, his move is named for a famous highway on a different island of Hawaii.)
Episode guide not complete yet… When I come up with 40 episodes, I'll post it here.
-----------------------------------------------------
So, there ya got it. I think that's all the time I got, I better get rollin'. And you guys tell me what ya think, what ya wanna see in there, maybe I can add it into the story. And til next time, the Sarge's relievin' ya for now. DISMISSED!

New fanart submission
I told y'all I'd get pics of all 12 main characters up as soon as I could, and the next one of them should be there to see by tomorrow. I hope I can get the others up real soon, but right now I'm loaded down with a whole lot of school work and havin' so much trouble catchin' back up to where I need to be. But anyways, I think I might be able to just pass quarter 3. I hope I'm doin' enough to stay in the game, cus these high-weighted classes are very demanding. And… I got a little homework due tomorrow still left over. I better get on it. So, til next time the Sarge's relievin' ya. DISMISSED!

Sorry about the long wait…
There's that, but there's good news. I've finally finished drawing basic pics of all 12 characters in Super Spy High (thou I ain't scanned and colored all of them yet) and I'm allmost ready to start drawing out the story. It'll take a little more time for me to start uploading any pages, and I any case I wanna get the other character profiles up first. But it'll be here eventually, don'tchall panic. Anyway, I think I'd better go back to planning some more, so til next time, this is the Sarge releivin' ya. DISMISSED!
