i don't feel like writing a post but i will anyway. just to let you know again that yes, i survived.
my grandmother's memorial was not too pleasant, but it could have been a lot worse.
apart from the obvious fact that it was sad, i had to meet all these obscure family members and listen to them talk about how tall i was when they last saw me and all the usual crap that people who really don't know you talk about
and my aunt monica's old college friend sort of hung around me the whole time, she's a lesbian vegan (interesting eh?) well it wasn't really, because ALL she could talk about was health food. i think she mentioned her son and her cat once or twice but mostly it was health food. she was nice, but a bit tiresome to be around for too long XP
anyway, you may call me the master of plants from now on because (apart from my strange affinity for them), i kept eight roses (that had already been cut for several days) alive and very well for two days in a hot, stuffy, crowded, bumpy car ride. it wasn't easy either.-_-'
so yeah, some people, they take home leftover food; me, i take home leftover flowers. yay.
two more days and they're still doing really well, too O.o
anyway.. damn i get sidetracked from points.
i think i should win some sort of rambling award.
there's a two-hour delay from school today and my parents have to go to some meeting at ten SOOOO i get to go to school and sit there for an HOUR before it opens. sounds like fun, doesn't it? yeah. of course it doesn't.
fortunately (or unforunately? hm..) i have tests to study for so i can keep busy.
so to wrap up, this day better come out in spades for how this morning is going so far. hope y'all are doing well.
