well, i just got back from Nutcracker practice.
no, i'm not a dancer... tohru168(sarah) and i are doing the fight scene between the rat and the nutcracker with our awesome fencing skillz :P
it was a pretty fun practice, though a tad confusing..
she's basically leaving the planning of what we do up to us, which left us in total consternation half the time, we thought she was gonna sort of choreograph it for us XD
anyway, we get to kill each other dramatically, something we've been doing after fencing classes every night all during fencing
coincidence? or destiny?!
unfortunately we have to wear clunky heads. it is imperative to the safety of our eyes while we spar. yet it is rather lacking in dignity. :D
oh well.
at least i don't have to smell my sword.

in other news...
uh.. there is no other news :D
except that i'm making a big painting for my mom's office at the university she's teaching at, of me reading on the couch with shimbo (my fat catmuffin) lying on me, and outside the window, a griffin chasing the peacocks that like to hang around in our yard.
it was her Vision, apparently, so that's what i'm doing.
aaand Indigo Sea has a new linky picture. i think it's a lot better than the old one. (it's down at the bottom of the page.)
