Noir the last chapter
“Shadow! Oh god!” she screamed, “please don’t die on me!”
“Rouge!” a voice shouted from behind and she turned around after she heard the sound of a cocking gun.
“Knuckles?!” she questioned when she realized that she was held at gunpoint, “why?”
“Rouge, you fuckin’ whore! Why? Can’t you see that I love you!”
Rouge slowly stood up, her hands held high.
“Don’t move!” he ordered and aimed the gun at her head, “I’ll shot!”
“No!” she said, “don’t! please I can see why you would be upset, but killing Shadow isn’t going to help your pain!”
“Bull shit!” he shouted, “he took you away from me!”
Rouge couldn’t help but cry. Shadow was dying and she didn’t know what to do.
“please,” she begged through tears, “don’t!”
Knuckles continue to hold the gun at her and he stared at her.
“Don’t,” she begged silently.
“Rouge! He killed your parents, turned you into a monster and he tried to fuckin’ rape you!”
“It wasn’t his fault! He can’t control himself!” Rouge shouted through sobs.
“This whole mess is his fault!” Knuckles exclaimed as he became to piss to talk.
Rouge became silent, but she continued to weep and shake, “he told me that the vampire had him kill his own family. Then mine, but I don’t blame him!”
Knuckles growled, “why?! He ruined your life! Now you’re living off of blood!”
Rouge didn’t answer, she just stared at the ground, “I thank him,” she whispered, “he helped me. He helped me realize the truth of my life. It was meaningless until a few months ago. I didn’t have a reason to live.”
“Bull shit! You had me!”
“No you were cheating on me,” Rouge said and closed her eyes, “for Julie-Su. I was going to end the relationship that day. That’s why I went to my parent’s house. To end it all.”
Knuckles growled and he held out his gun, “I hate you! You always saw right through me!”
Rouge kept quiet, ‘shot me,’ she thought, ‘please you already took everything else from me.’
She looked over at Shadow and she wept.
Knuckles placed his finger on the trigger and he pulled it. Rouge fell to the ground dead. He fell to his knees and looked at his gun, “what the fuck did I just do?!” he asked himself, “I’m so sorry, Rouge!”
Knuckles quickly placed the gun near his head and he placed his finger on the trigger.
There was a gunshot and Knuckles looked at his stomach as blood dripped down his stomach and he turned around, “Julie-Su? Why?” he asked when he noticed his girlfriend with a gun pointed at him.
“You bastard!” she shouted, “you two-timing fuckin’ bastard!”
Knuckles gave off one last groan before he was left to die in the middle of the woods with two vampires that didn’t have the chance to tell each other how they felt.
