Mine and Hope's Naruto Fanfic Begins...
I wrote this for the beginning of mine and Hope's naruto fanfiction. if you want to know who exactly Konoko is she is a character I made up to represent me and be Zabuza's sister. i thought him having a sister would let me be able to show his sensitive side and love of kids.
Prologue: Left Behind
In solemn silence, a young boy stood at the gates of the Nisawa Orphanage, a little girl asleep in his arms.
“I’m sorry but I can’t take care of you anymore. You deserve more than a monster like me has to offer. I don’t want you to carry the weight of my sin. Even though I was told to kill them, it doesn’t make it right.”
“Zazi?” the little girl mumbled, oblivious to the world around her.
“I’ve got to go now Konoko.” he said kissing her forehead as he laid her on the ground. “I know you’ll grow up to be a great ninja someday.” He whispered as he wrapped her tiny fingers around a kunai. He then rose to leave.
As he walked away, the boy thought to himself ‘I’m going to miss you so much Koko, but its better that you stay away from me. They say the more times a man kills, the easier it becomes; after all, the people I killed today, it should be like a hot knife through butter.’
