Good news!!
I have officially an insane amount of pictures to post...but they are just in my email box. I'll have to divide up the pics by day and get them into my picture service thingy. So...pics will be up soon.

I hope.

Response to comments:

Kevmart: "3)You stopped by my site, acted all high and mighty and I was like, cool."

uh...i'm glad that you answer teh questions, but I'm still puzzled over whether your joking with me or not.

Blue eyes: your answer to the last one, "17. Hmm...well...like a sister" really touched me. thanks :)

I'm surprised at how many of you remembered you had closets to clean out too lol. Amusing to me at least.

Yukina: *glomps* haven't talked to you in forever. how are you?

blue eyes: geez, you've been planning to clean it out for 2 years. lol

I am now enrolled in my fall classes (math D and Ed 10, if you wanted to know).

hm....i'll leave ya all with a question: if you had any superpower, what would it be?
Mine would be healing ability.

edit: this is from blue eyes site. Answer it.

1. Who are you?
2. Are we friends?
3. When and how did we meet?
4. Do you have a crush on me?
5. Would you kiss me?
6. Give me a nickname and explain why you picked it.
7. Describe me in one word.
8. What was your first impression [of me]?
9. Do you still think that way about me now?
10. What reminds you of me?
11. If you could give me anything what would it be?
12. How well do you know me?
13. When's the last time you saw me?
14. Ever wanted to tell me something but couldn't?
15. Are you going to put this on your journal and see what I say about you?
16. What song are you listening to right now?
17. Do you love me?

Today I'm a bit busy
I actually have stuff to finish instead of lazing around and reading murder mysteries all day.

1. finish a packet.
2. laundry
3. schedule a meeting with a guidance counselor for next few semesters.
4. sort through my wardrobe and weed out any clothes that are too small/don't fit me any more/winter atire.

I will be visiting your sites through the day, I promise, along with sifting through the pictures when mom isn't on her laptop (they are on her's you see).

Ciao!

Response to comments:

Lordsesshomaru: since this is my first Batman movie I have ever seen, I really can't compare, but I'll take your word for it.

Elves: *wrinkles her nose* saw the original version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, never really liked it.

Blue eyes: yes, I do. Yeah, I'm a sissy and complain about hot weather, but its not my best climate.

And thanks for correction about my GB, I just freaked out I guess.

*sighs* I promised you guys pictures, and they will come...just today was the 4th of July and spent all day with friends. The fire works we bought were a real dissapointment though, they weren't exciting at all.

Oh, also watched the beginning of the english version of Castle in the Sky movie I mentioned...and it was horrible. I don't know who cast them, but they were too sharp. On the other hand, hearing french on it was awful funny!!!

Welp, until tomorrow

   Someone tampered with my guestbook
Someone, who was NOT me, deleted one of my gb signings, so now I am down to 88. Just to be safe, I changed my password, too.

Moving on to fun things, I saw Batman Begins, and was wowed! It was dark, just like Gotham by nature is, and the character development makes you love it even more. So..go forth and see it!!

Now, to answer questions.

blue eyes: the weather here is warming up. it is officially summer. Too bad it has to be so hot.

Niko: I am always in the mood for YYH, Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Dragonball Z, blah blah. Also, most recently, Pretear. Absolutely lovely.

Lord Sesshomaru: favorite musical articts range from the Beatles, to Moody blues, to jazz, to J-pop and some hip hop, to some classical (on my mood), and Linkin Park, Maroon 5, and Evanescence.

Um, lets see what else I can talk about...*ponders*

Just leave me some questions to answer, then, ciao.

Welp, there has been nothing of note to write, so today is just more response to responses, and some quotes I found.

Blue eyes: You wanted me to freeze? what a mean friend...joking. I know weren't serious about it. ;)Glad to be back.

Mizuyasha: I found your response to my reponse to Tiggerola very funny. ;)

and to all of you who welcomed me back, thanks!

Quotes:

"If you can't say something nice about anybody, come sit by me!" (Steel Magnolias, 1989)

"You don't understand my plight" (Sideways, 2004)

"I killed him for money and for a woman. I didn't get the money...and I didn't the woman." (Double Indemnity, 1994)

Response to comments:

Lordsesshomaru: yes, it was a good trip overall, just long enough to relax.

Tiggerola: O_o you don't like icecream? I love that stuff. Anyways, yes, I have no clue why Alaska sells the most ice cream. perhaps people just want to boast they ate ice cream in Alaska.

Blue eyes: *hugs her tightly* its good to be back!! I get motion sickness too, but only got close to getting a little sea sick, and that was it.

Kevmart: as this was my first cruise, i had no idea what to expect, but they cram the day full of activities. Its amazing (plus, they make their money on alchoholic drinks).

mizuyasha: no way, you used to live in Juneau?! we didn't stop by Kodiak, but I'll make sure to remember that.

Thanks for your comments guys, I was really happy!

Oh, I'm suprised no one asked how cold it was. As it was not the dead of winter, it was the perfect walking weather, crisp, but not freezing. Even the rain was fun to walk in, as it wasnt freezing, either.

Cruise synopsis
....finally, the long awaited summary!!

By date:

June 17: arrived in San Francisco, ate lunch, dropped off luggage by means of a porter, checked in with security and all that. Got ID cards that had our name, room number, cruise number, etc etc, a room key for our rooms. Was on by 1 pm or around that time and spent sometime exploring the ship. Later on, dad and my bro got sea sick, but got better by eating some green apples slices and crackers at dinner (no joke, it works!!)

June 18: Our first full sea day. the sea was still a bit choppy from the prior storms to the cruise, so it was interesting getting our sea legs. Got a little queasy myself, but stopped it from full blown sea sickness by wearing wristbands. We lounged about on the lounge on deck chairs. Tonight was the first of 2 formal dinner nights, so we all got gussied up. :)

June 19: today we attended a cooking demonstration, by the head cook (he promised us a tour of the galley later in the week). Also during the day, i attended a photo class with my mom, and 2 trivia games, and a lecture on Alaska and general stuff about the land. Dinner was great!

Before I forget, our two waiters, like most of employees, were not native to the USA. They were attentive, funny, and had an excellent grasp on english.

Then, while the rest of my family went to see National Treasure in the little theatre, I went to the Stage Door, the bar and dance area. Just sat for a whole hour, really. it was a great place to people watch.

June 20: Today was our first port of call, Sitka, Alaska. By way of boat (tenders, officially), we made our way ashore and explored the town and took many pictures. It was so picturesque over there. On the way back, dad, brian and I got some icecream.

Useless trivia: Alaska sells more ice cream than any other state.

We ate dinner, then went to a performance, Shake, Rattle, and Roll. It was excellent, considering that the dance team dances on a boat. :) Then, as became my nightly habit, went to the Stage door and actually got over my shyness and got down to dancing. (wierd, but I grew to look forward to it!)

June 21: Our second port of call, Haines. Their claim to fame: the movie White Fang was filmed there (though I have never seen it). They even have the set there, cause it was a lot of wood that was need to build those sets, and moved them to their town fair place. Now they rent the buildings out, including to one brewer. Our tour had a chance to sample some of his drinks and then some smoked salmon. Other than than, the town was picturesque, but not as much as Sitka. Went back on board, had dinner that evening, went back to Stage door.

June 22: Today was our next port, Tracy Arm, though we never got off ship, as it is an inlet, or a fjord that we went in and had to back out of. The best part was the huge glacier at the end of it. HOwever, it was cold outside and started to develop an earache, so went inside and read Murder on the Orient Express while the others stayed outside. Had dinner, though it was more exotic than I liked (included frog legs and escargo). Stopped in Stage door for a few minutes then went to bed.

June 23: Our port of call was Juneau, which was blatantly tourist, though still with natural beauty. Most of the stores were shirt stores, jewelry stores, Diamond stores, fur stores and licqueur stores. Went on a tour with my mom to Mendenhall Glacier while my dad and brother went dog sledding.

Ate dinner then went to bed.

June 24: Todays highlights were, in order, 2 rounds of trivia and the second formal night. Other than that, I was lazy. Hey, its vacation, ya know!

June 25: the port of call: Victoria, Canada. The city was absolutely gorgeous, and reminded us of old europe. met a friend of moms (she has a a xanga site). We rode a horse drawn trolly into town, then walked around the port and explored some stores.

The best part of dinner was desert, Smoked Alaska. It was so rich and creamy that it was all I could do to finish the last few bites. then we attended that evenings show, and afterwards I went to the Backstage door and then to bed.

June 26: today was the final day for activities, so we ended up playing T.V tunes Triva and Family Feud. Rested, packed, and ate dinner (our luggage was taken while we dined). Dinner was sad, as we said good bye to our faithful waiters. I attended the last night of dancing and had a blast, then went to bed.

June 27: Today was a day of waiting. We had to wait in a line to pass immigration inspection, and then gather our hand baggage and wait in a lounge for hours. The most annoying thing was that an amazing number of people lagged in getting that done, holding up the line. then, we disembarked by color groups (ours was Cream 2), and we were on shore. it was 10 am by then, and it wasn't until noon that our ride came and took us home.

I'm back!!
Hey all ya'll!! I'm back from vacation, and have visited only a few of your sites, along with email, mail, the forum I frequent, and put away my clothes. Still have laundry to do to.

Before anyone asks, I will be telling you about my vacation experience on a cruise boat, but not today. that in itself will be quite a long post. Pictures will come later, but there are many of them, so give me a week or too to sift through them and email them to my email account.

*sighs* so, how is everyone? Good?

of note, I have a new club banner...but its a wee bit small. if you click on it, you can see it more clearly, but until I can figure out how to fix it, it will stay that way.

In preperation for next post, ask away what you like (in regards to vacation only).
