Hallelujah!
My sister gave birth to a healthy baby boy on the 20th--and he is the cutest kid on the planet. During the last two days I and my family have practically lived at the birthing center.

I am officially an auntie!!

And now for a few pictures...

My sister grabbed at the chance to take a shower while he was napping, so I got the chance to hold him. photo taken by my mother.

And now you know why I haven't posted or done anything lately the last two days. You guys understand.

I'll do my best to catch up...tomorrow. Ciao!

No joke.

Made you laugh, didn't I?

In other news, my sister still hasn't delivered yet.

Dropped spanish class for 3 reasons:
1) it isn't essential to my degree.
2) I wasn't as prepared as I thought
3) I am job hunting for a side job and would like more hours to offer.

Well, this is all for now. Ciao.

Apologies for not posting for...weeks? Seriously?

My, time flies by past.

Several things have happened.

Besides today being Single Awareness Day, it is also the projected day of my sister's giving birth to a baby boy. Whether that will happen today is up to him.

Spanish is stressing me out. That's as far as I'm going.

Photo class has been wonderful!

In media new, American Idol has started the severe trimming of hopefuls. It's always interesting to watch.

Ciao!

Important announcement
For the first time ever, I have achieved a GPA recognition!

*insert drum roll*

Apparently I made the Dean's list. That means my GPA is at least 3.0 something, and in order to keep this, I have to maintain it.

My mom, dad, brother, and granny (who is visiting from Florida) are so happy for me!

Other than that, I've just been keepin' on taking pictures and studiously completing homework. And yes, cleaning. I do a lot of cleaning.

So, ciao for now.

A new week has dawned
Hello, hello everyone!

So sorry about not posting. School takes prescedence.

However, the weekend was good to me. I got my room tidied up, tossed out unimportant papers and books, etc.

That wasn't the high point, though. At last I have wasted 4 hours of my life watching Arsenic and Old Lace (an excellent movie with Cary Grant) and Young Frankenstein.

The following is one example of its humor:
(Dr. Frankenstein gets off the carriage, now at the castle. He helps his young, beautiful assistant off. Igor strains to knock the huge rings on the door)
Dr: What knockers!
Assistant: why, thank you, doctor.

Haha, knockers! Get it? Never mind. It's harder to imagine having not seen it. Anywho, enough of that.

Not much else to report on. Homework isn't too much work (yet).

Ciao!

New changes
For years my mom has had long hair. Yesterday, she got it cut to about shoulder length. She looks so pretty (not that she didn't look pretty before, but there was so much hair covering her face).

Took some pictures today, ordered the remaining ingredients left so I can develop my film...*grins like crazy*

The rest of the day will be taken up in cleaning up our garage and possibly an evening church service. Have a great day.

   School has started again
It's going to be a good semester, it will keep me busy. That's always a good thing. Works going well, too.

It's just a good week for me.

Bad me, I'm putting of the little studying I have to do...however, I did want to update, seeing as my last post is a few days old.

Okies, off to study and be productive. Enjoy your day.

I'm a goof
To all writers out there: fingers have a way of twisting around a perfectly good plot. Today I just realized I made a mistake on a chapter, but it was a good one. It made the story shorter and, miracle of miracles...I finished it!

To elvesatemyramen: I have finished my first animaniacs story. feel free to read it all in one sitting. XD

It feels good to finish something.

Anywho, on to comments:

Elves: thanks for the advice about picture size.

Arrekusu-sensei: it's too bad that IE7 isn't being nice to you. I hope you can change it soon.

blue: thank you so much for your enthusiam about my pics...it made me smile. :)

LS: I have a photobucket account, yet I never learned about the resizing thing on it till yesterday. Talk about unobservant. *smiles sheepishly*

Well, now that those are out of the way, onto my day. My family and I took our cameras for a mini-trip to capture some sunset pictures (and night shots, oh how fun those are!) There was a bit of bickering going on between my parents though, over directions and such.

Useless information about me: I hate people arguing. It makes me feel bad. Don't ask me why, I don't get it either.

Anywho, it still was a fun day.

Okies, it is about time for me to log off and go get some shut eye. Ciao.

No more stretched post
My apologies to Arrekusu-sensei. Finally decided that since my pictures were stretching the page, it was time to move to one post a day thing.

response to comments:

Sonic prime: the way I figure it,I only have one or two semesters left, if I keep on with 3 or 4 classes per semester.

blue: you know I will never leave for long...and certainly not without a goodbye. Hope i didn't worry you.

LS: yeah, I'm one of the few who actually like school. then again, I am in college taking courses I like, so that's part of it.

kirbysdouble: first off, I have to say I adore your avatar of
Shikamaru all dressed up in a stupid costume. :D and yes, it is nice to get another semester under your belt.

Well, I actually was productive and finished another chapter of my animaniacs story that sat for 4 months. Boy do I feel sorry for all my loyal readers who waited so long.

I also uploaded some of my film prints, if you want to see some of my new stuff at deviantart.

So sorry about not visiting!
This week I've not been in the mood for visting here, a rare thing for me. So, I will be busy catching up.

School starts up soon--for which I am very grateful. It puts me one semester closer for graduation! Plus, my christmas vacation has been very nice to me.

Not much to report on. Just been doing housework, watching cartoons, working. The ordinary stuff.

So until next post, Shani
