I'm free!!
...from school, that is, until fall rolls around. Until then the only obligations I have are to family, my boss, and church. Plus I have vacation coming up.

Have a great day!

An adventure in insanity
I never realized just how much a toll sleep deprivation takes on you--things that I normally notice people must point out to me, and I'm ....giggly. Never mind the 2 hour nap I had today, it will be nice to have my calm and rational self is back.

Hm...i'll leave you with a site to check out:

www.actsofgord.com (inspired from Lordsesshoumarou's post)

It is the tales of a game store owner, Gord, specifically of stupidity of man in general. Check it out if you wish.

Sleep deprived....
As you can see by the title, I am sleep deprived to the nth degree, aka not a wink of sleep. So...I have no idea how long I'll be before I crash. (don't ask me why, I have no clue why slumber forsook me). Ciao.

I didn't do much after my morning post today, besides laundry and watching the last American Idol show (tomorrow is the reveal, thank God. It's been a long contest).

Ciao.

People like me! they really really like me!
sorry, but as an author, even a simple 'good job, that rocks!' makes my day. I'm glad you liked my little story I posted last post.

Today I slept in today, and it felt good. Hm...not much to report on today. Ciao.

Hello, everyone!
Yesterday was an extrodinary day! I posted 2 stories on fanfiction.net and wrote another one, in the pov of Yami Yugi.

Its called, When Chocolate Calls.

Genre: humor
note: the [i] and [b] are code. [i] is when Yugi is speaking; [b] is when Yami is speaking.
_____________

The urges to eat chocolate were strange.

Yugi had quite a sweet tooth, therefore, he had gained one too, sort of. He could distinguish cake from pie, candy from cupcakes. Chocolate bars were his host’s newest craze.

It was late evening, around eight. Yugi was deep into his history text when the urge for the American treat overcame him, him who had no body to speak of. Cursing Yugi’s tender spot for teeth rotting goodness, he remained silent, hoping not to disturb his host. Still, the velvet taste of the chocolate tempted him.

[i]Are you okay? [i]

Startled just a little bit, he managed to compose himself. [b]Yes, I am. [b]

[i]Okay, then…just checking. I’m gonna get some chocolate from the store next corner.[i]

Overwhelmingly relieved, he couldn’t help the happiness that swept across their bond.

[i]If you wanted it so bad, Yami, you could have told me![i] Yugi giggled, and Yami felt mortified, and realized his thoughts hadn’t been guarded. Yugi had been in on the whole thing.

He pursed his lips and crossed his arms akimbo, miffed. If he had had a body, his humiliation would be far worse.

[i]Oh, don’t be such a martyr.[i]Yugi’s scolding voice eased him a bit, and he sighed.

[b]Just get the chocolate.[b]

[i]Yes, sir.[i] His childish joy was infectious, and Yami found it all but impossible to be annoyed any longer.

Yugi set out of the game shop and traversed the short distance to shop that housed his dear chocolaty goodness. It really was only a few minutes walk from the Game Shop, something both of them were grateful for.

When the short boy had pushed the entrance door open (the shop was open until nine at night), the proprietor of the establishment, Hikagi san, waved in a friendly way at his favorite customer and grinned. Hikagi san was a kind soul with a twinkle in his eyes, and kept his tiny shop impeccable. The counters always gleamed, the glass that housed the treats bore no cuts or streaks. The cash register was set beside a canister of tasteful napkins and a little stand that held business cards.

“Yugi kun, how nice to see you! I was waiting for you today. The usual?”

“Yes, sir.” Yugi grinned and dug his hands further into his pockets to retrieve his wallet to pay for his bill, while the good man scooped three bars of dark chocolate into a bag. They were big, at least the size of his fist, and one inch thick. He nearly drooled at the sight of the treat, but managed to restrain himself and pay for them.

“Have a good evening, Hikagi san,” he said, taking the crinkled paper bag and waving.

“Don’t eat it all tonight, young lad. It’ll keep you up.” Yet he and Hikagi san knew that Yugi would eat it all in one night, and not loose an ounce of sleep. It helped him to stay awake finishing homework, oddly enough. Yugi nodded and slipped out the door, back toward the shop.

Eagerly, Yugi took one of the pieces, then switched with Yami, so that Yami was the one standing on the street holding the chocolate bar. Touched by the boy’s affection, he decided to indulge, and kept up the brisk walk back to the Game Shop. Grandpa had been napping when Yugi had left, so he had to be careful. Sugoroku san was notorious for long naps.

The treat was a novelty for him, still, in that first bite. He had tasted the milk chocolate, but it was much too soft. The bitter taste enticed his taste buds better, something he likened to the ying and yang relationship with yamis and hikaris.

For a moment, he reveled in the simple pleasures of living in the modern world. Too bad Egypt hadn’t had chocolate when he had been alive.

The weekend is almost over...
Music mood: Linkin' Parks "Breaking the Habit" and "In the End"

Haven't done much today, as I accidently slept in longer than I thought, and had some math tutoring appointment (my final test is this thursday).

Q1: As you can see, I posted my music mood. Whats yours?

An important announcement!
I now have reached the 500 visit mark! Yay! (no big celebration, I'll save that for a later number, like 1000.) thank you everyone!

The wedding renewal vow ceremony (as I said in my last post, some friends of ours did it) went well, and then it was fellowhip and eating time. I saw people that I hadn't seen for awhile, met new people, and overall had a great time. I also played the game RISK for the first time, too.

Ciao.

   Its Saturday!!
Weekends are so blissfully short...too bad the week is a lot longer.

The only thing of note (besides my daily Satuday hour of Yugioh) is a wedding vows renewal ceremony today, at 1 pm. Their good friends of ours, plus there will be good food, too. :)

*happiness*
Ah, I really liked the comments my last post sparked. Sounds like the sentiment is pro PS2 for Final Fantasy, allright.

I am also glad to meet some other nintendo fans! I have been a nintendo fan for years, especially of Zelda games.

Oh, and Sita mentioned SEGA and Sonic, with which I am very familiar. It really has a long history.

Ja!
