What other games/systems do you like? not like? Any memborable titles you want to share?

Currently am watching my brother play Jade Empire (game for X box). It's certainly sparked some comments regarding mythology, and thats cool too. We talk alot, about random topics and serious topics.

Hmm, not much else to report on. Ciao.

...
I love your guys comments, especially WarriorpoetZenar:
'Do you know about the....LIBRARY MAFIA?!?!?!?!? It's true, they'll get ya soon...and when they find ya, they'll break your legs...'

2 things I have to say this this: 1) no, never heard of them.
2) all they'll do is slap a fine on me, possibly enough for new copies of them if they remain lost.

When, in my last post, I didn't expect to recieve such a diverse range of answers! They made me laugh.

Well, today is my brothers birthday, and he is now officially 17 years of age. He recieved a present from mom and dad, and today we celebrated by eating out at a restaurant and some ice cream for desert.

Welp, it is now time to finish up homework. Ciao.

Schools almost over...
and I'm tired. Blah. At least I only have one class today.

So how was everyone's sunday? Mine was restful, aside from the fact I still can't find my library books that are now overdue.

Lesee, I'll leave you with a quiz and go.

Q1: what is one food combination you can't stand?
Q2: Brand name clothing-do you remain loyal to one or more?

AQ1: pizza and seafood
AQ2: nope, whatever is cheap.

Lazy day
As it turns out, I spent my time whiling away most of the reading This Present Darkness, by Frank Peretti. Currently I am 3/4 of way through, and I'll probably finish it today.

Other than that, I did some work on preparing for a presentation of sorts on monday for english, an gathering resources for the final essay (yay!).

And if you didn't read my last post, go ahead and give me some feedback. Ciao.

A much better day
As the title says, today was much better AND I have actual content for a post instead of blabbering nonsense.

Yesterday night I was in an odd mood, that of nostalgia, as I was cleaning out my closet (and listening to a Beatles CD). First I found a little book I had to have made in first or second grade, complete with a cover picture and the title "My Truck."

I thought I would share it with you:
_______________
One day I was driving my truck. I suddenly crashed into a car. I was taken to a repair shop. When my truck was fixed I drove home. When Chrimas came the snow was deep. I got my truck out and drived through the deep snow. After we cleared a clearing in the snow, I parked it in its place. I drived home and made dinner. After I ate dinner.

Cute huh? Say it with me now: aawww.

Thus the writer was born! Hehe, speaking of writing, a new one-shot story has been added to my writing arsenal as of last night, in the Yugioh fandom. I'll put it here for your reading pleasure:

NOTE: includes musings on what has been called Season 0, before he and Yugi became friends.

Contrary to most jokes, blondes are not dumb. Just because I inherited light hair from the gene pool does not mean my intellect suffers. End the stereotyping, people (yes, I did use two ‘big’ words).

The old put downs and derogatory remarks hurt me, especially when my friends (and that stuck up snob) tease me about my intelligence. Sure, I tend to waste a lot of time at the arcade and master games that wierdos like me only know, but that doesn’t mean it’s my whole life. I also have to worry about keeping my father in check and paying rent for our lousy apartment. It’s a blessing in disguise my mother keeps my sister separated from us, as she is not used to the violence and drug deals that go on here in this rat-infested cubicles that are labeled as apartments. She’s still the pure, naïve little sister who I love to pieces.

Another thing that bothers me is how fast my history as bully was forgotten (except by Hirutani and his boys). I’m not a wimp, I’m no freak, and I certainly am dangerous with Tristan by my side if it comes down to a fight. Yugi just tamed me, ya know? He has that gift to make almost anyone become his friend, which is frightening at times. He could take over the world and no one could tell how.

If only everyone else could see me in a different light.

Thats it, one of my shortest pieces yet. Feel free to tell me if the ending could be improved, please!

Ja!
