Back from school
Welp, got back and did some homework. English is gonna be fun, I can tell.
Oh, I am officially employed! Scarey, yes, but a good experience for me. At least I'll have some more experience to write from. I start next week.
Thanks for your comments everybody!

Back to school
Welp, its that time of year again! At long last I'll have my internal time clock fixed so I won't have to ask what day it is.
My schedule:
Monday: English 1C or Critical thinking
Tuesay: Math B or Geometry and Ed. 7 or Tutor-Elementry reading (learning how to tutor)
Wednesday: same as monday
Thursay: same as Tuesday
Friday: Earth Science. I may end up dropping this one if I can't enroll in lab. ;(
I can't wait for the tutoring class--we'll have actual hands-on experience in a elementary school.
My bane of education continues to be math. Yuck. I only hope I get this time around, and end up with a C grade.
The music video will be forthcoming today also. If you manage to comment before I get home, feel free to suggest some good songs.
I may soon be an employee of a small (real small) restaurant that is new in town, so that has got me a bit nervous, as I am currently unemployed and living at home. No use spending money on an apartment and food and stuff when it can be used for tuition and books and stuff like that.
Thats all for now, folks. I'll report when I come back from campus.

A regular day....
Your label is the Nice girl/guy. You tend to care for others over yourself. However, many people appreciate your caring side and would rather stick by you than hurt you. But, there is a downside. Some tend to abuse your kindness and take advantage of you. You always try to see the good in everyone and try not to hate. Also, you have sharp insight and a great personality. Calm, serene, and understanding, you make a worthy friend and a valuble ally to people in need. Don't change your sweet nature, your constant being-there can save a life. I suggest your go into a field that centers around working with others such as a doctor, baby-sitter, psychologist, lifeguard, or Teacher. If none of these occupations interest you, it is okay then. I am sure that there are plenty of oppertunities out there for you.

My days of vacation are few...I start on the 24th (which happens to be when I update the music video--any one have requests?)
One more thing--is there anyone out there who knows how to post animated gifs and banners? Please, I would be very grateful if one of you would mind helping me. I am more than willing to help you with something if you ask it of me.

World news
My dad bought an issue of The Week magazine, and right away I found 2 article that made me want to laugh. This was inspired by Shinmaru and his Shinmaru vs the World Posts.
a shoutout to bLuE eYeS--they have a caption contest going on (no prizes. sorry people).
Note: There is no link 'cause of no online subscription. ;(

Belfast
IRA bank robbers: A splinter branch of the IRA was behind last month's dramatic bank robbery in Belfast, the Northern Ireland police claimed this week. A gang of robbers held the families of two employees hostage while their cohorts emptied the vault of the Northern Bank, making off with $50 million. Chief Constable Hugh Orde said that the Provisional IRA had carried out the heist. The robbers may not profit though: Northern Bank is to withdraw all of its bank notes, which carry a Northern Logo, from circulation. That, said Orde, would make the robbery, "the largest theft of wastepaper in living history."
[article over--can anyone tell me how to bold certain font?!]
...The robbers go through all the trouble and hostages and run off with 50 million of bank notes, only to have it go void.
My first reaction: Baka's. They should make the Guinness book of Records.

Rome
Take it outside: Italy this week became the latest European country to adopt a ban on smoking. As in Ireland and Norway, all indoor workplaces in Italy must now have a seperately ventilated smoking area or else be smoke-free. Smokers will be fined up to $300, and boar or restaurant owners who don't evict smoking customers will be fined for more than $2000 for each offense. The ban has provoked outrage: one-quarter of Italian adults smoke, and most regard it as a basic personal freedom.
[article over]
Hurrah for attemping to stop smoking...I think. Given the reaction of the populace, it won't be easy.
But, honestly, what is it about fining people for a certain unlawful act when history has proven time and again that if people want to, in this case, smoke, they will pay the price. Come on people, can't you think of other punishments?

Welp, thats all for now. If you want more of this stuff, let me know.

New music update
Sorry about the late update, but my computer mouse decided to be evil by purposely running out of battery. So...I had to wait. It still a bit spotty, but hey, its fine now.
This weekend was anime watching spree! I watched all of .hack//SIGN vol 3, part of .hack//SIGN vol 4, Inuyasha: Affections touching across Time, a rerun of the first episode of YYH, DBGT, and a rerun of RK.
Till next time, ShaniKun

What makes manga/anime so great?
This is my attepmt at a serious post. Please excuse any typos on my part, as I am currently wearing a wrist brace on my right wrist.
As far as I see it, americans are either for or against the foreign influence of Asia. But like it or not, Japan is hot stuff.
The Japanese have blessed us with their highly imaginative, and sometimes questionable works. It's refreshing to pick up a copy of your favorite manga and surrender your logical mind for five minutes...or longer.
Every country has their great works, but with the advent of postal service overseas, this opens up a whole new avenue to foreign merchants.
As for the stories themselves, they are immersed in the culture, and can confuse an ignoramus, but that is easily remedied. There is so much variatey--girls books, boys books, romance, robot-centric stories, future stories, historical stories, you name it. Somtimes you can mix one or more to make Alternate Universe.
Critics might say that the influence of Asia is crowding out the good, old fashioned tradtions of the US of A.
...never mind that America is a melting pot of other countries, and our prized tradtions are passed down in the family.
...whew. Now off serious mode!
Switching topic, I saw Phantom of the Opera just yesterday, in the theater. Man, it is a shame I never saw it while still on broadway. It was fantastic!!!
As usual, please leave a comment, please!

A good day
So far, I have recieved 2 positive comments regarding my colors. YAY!
Miroku's daughter: Yes, I have been to sites like that where the text and color blend together to make it unreadable. It's a pain.
Yesterday was a day for firsts: music. I hope you like it! Would you guys like it if I rotated a music video each week? If so, I am open to suggestions, as there is a lot of music out there.
