next thursay is my last day of summer school, and it's coming up fast!Thank goodness I don't have much homework to do outside the classroom.
Last night my brother and I watched anime for the first time in ages...the first 6 eppies of Cowboy Bebop. Love it so much I bought the opening theme song "Tank" off Itunes. Random at times, but down right dark at times. Just the way I like it...and even better the english V.A.'s didn't repulse me either. A big plus.
What else is new? I've been reading something other than manga! Le gasp! Been enjoying reading Babbit by Sinclair Lewis.
Ciao, Shani

Apologies to my dear friend Al...I've been on a sonic high the last week, and is no different from your raves on Eva, Deathnote, etc....
*bobs head along to Red Hot Chili Peppers music*
Response to comments:
Georgie: yeah, Live and Learn rocks. It has so much energy it makes you want to dance.
LS: take your time, don't hurry. I had a me weekend to further celebrate that.
Tiggerola: yeah, I miss the old stuff. The new stuff tends to more 'modern'. The new games are good to an extent, though, but not as good as the old 2-D games.
Anywho, I just came back from house sitting for my sis and her hubby. Those weekends are so nice!
Now if I can just get my assignment for people pictures done...I would get my brother to volunteer, but he isn't here.
Why is it when one sits down to post, one can never think of much of anything to say? It's like our mind blanks on us on purpose....
anywho, I'll let you guys go. Ciao.

freedom!!
I just came back from my last night of working at the restaurant...yahoo!
*rocks out to Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure*
Hmm..that song could be choreographed...
Anywho, so glad to know so many of you are at least familiar with the Sonic cartoon! Indeed, I was writing of the Saturday morning cartoon, as I have no clue who Fawn is. There is another one though, Sonic Underground. (it can be confusing, huh?)
Well off to chill to more music...post later. Shani.

Lesee....I know I should update, but what to chat about?
Not sure how many sonic fans there are out there, but I finally got hold of all the episodes of Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon (4 seasons, that is. I am so happy yet sad, bittersweet really. The very ending of the last episode left me pondering for hours what could have followed, if the show hadn't been cancelled. Grr.
Good shows never last.
Gee, I don't hold any bitterness, do I?
*grins*
So how are my online friends? I hope your doing well.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's a...
new post!
The weekend is here, and with that, some time to actually visit people!!
This is also my birthday weekend, so double yay!
Want to hear some news about my classses? Okay, I'll tell you somethings.
In film class we are watching films with sound now, and its been interesting to see them get more refined.
Photo class: Been taking pictures and developing them, which is pretty fun. It's a stress reliever in a way, because you can't rush the process one bit.
Aerobic fitness...I won't lie. It's been hard, but its worth it. It really is starting to pay off too, 3 weeks into it.
Not much else to report.
Shani out.

a week later....
Hi guys. School, school, more school, work...*rubs eyes tiredly*
Today was voting day here in the golden state of the US of A. Did my civil duty and came home to watch a netflix, Faust. Other than that, there isn't much much more to report. It's 12:03 pm in the morning, and my bed calls....
Do me a favor guys, and tell me what is going on in your life, since no doubt I won't be able to visit you.

Gomen nasai...
for not visiting! It is simply more of a battle to get through the school day,and then when I do get home early evening, I just want to do nothing but eat dinner and sit.
Just so you know, visits from me will probably be nil the next week or two...photography class is gradually demanding more of my time.
Enough with the apologies. Classes are going well--so far I have seen the orginal King Kong and Phantom of the Opera, plus Little Caesar (gangster) and Gold Diggers of 1933 (musical). I know these sound like greek to you, but I do recommend them.
In other news, I am quitting my restaurant job in two weeks! My parents are hiring me for their business, so this way I get to spend more time with them.
Till later, Shani

Sleepy....
I'll have no life for the summer semester.
however, I return I get to watch movies, take pictures (film), and exercise.
Since I have nothing else to talk about, thought you would like to know more about my classes. If you don't, too bad. Mwahahah!!
We are starting off with silent films (not totally silent, as there is music, but no voice. It's been awesome, especially as photography and cinematography are so closely related.
Pretty much one movie per class (except for exams).
Photograpy has been challenging, since the darkroom is a new experience, but it is fun nonetheless.
Aerobic fitness is hard, and in summer too. Seriously don't know what I was thinking when enrolling, but it does keep me active.
So glad you thought my brothers comment about
turning 18 was funny...he is a funny guy!
Until the next post, whenever that is.

Summer...how I loathe the heat!
It is officially summer, and it has been for the past week or two. This week it has been over 85 degrees--consistently. Today was 90 something degrees.
Meh, I sound like a wimp, don't I? I can't help it if heat drains my energy.
Summer school starts the 22nd...I get to take pictures, watch films, and exercise. yeah!!
Tomorrow is my brother's birthday...his 18! *freaks out* The other day he said that he would be old enough to buy tupperware on television.
*laughs out loud again*
Welp, that is all for today.

thought it was time for a new post...
Reading all your comments has been fun. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who doesn't like speeches.
I don't know if it is just me, or does the last week of school make you want to go out and do something crazy, just for the heck of it? I'm getting antsy, and its making my desire to find a dance studio soon even worse.
Reading the paper today as I always do, I read the comics, as habit dictates. Today's favorite is from Foxtrot, about the new nintendo system, the Wii. Here is the link-if you visit this later, it is on the calender on the archives page for May 9.
http://www.ucomics.com/foxtrot/
That is is for today. Caio.
