am now back!
I wasn't on for most of the day, from eight this morning until 9:30 tonight--and for a good reason. Today was my belated birthday celebration with my family!!

Ah....i have so many sites to visit and comment on I might get too tired to do that after posting this...dont' be offended if I won't post much.

Now...on to the summary of a glorious day!!!

We went to San Francisco, specifically to the Golden Gate Park. Man, it is beautiful or what!? It took us awhile to get our destination, the Japenese Tea Garden, but we got there. Stupid mapquest really didn't help.

After paying admittance fee, we found ourselves in a traditional japenese garden haven!! (or for me, heaven on earth). It was like having a taste of what royalty must have lived back then, it was well maintained and gorgeous!! There was even a pagoda smack dab in the middle, close to the tea house and tourist store.

I'll have to get pictures to you as soon as possible--i simply cannot convey to you in words what an experience it was. My mom, dad, sister and brother also enjoyed it too, but not as much as me. :)

Next, we went to the near by beach and ate at the restaunt that was close by (can't remember the name). Their salmon is pretty darn good, let me tell ya.

Then, came my second favorite part...Chinatown!!! In the very first store I browsed in I got an amber/jade ring (that fits my finger, surprisingly). Sis had to convince me to get it at first. Hm...we really didn't browse that many stores, and I was feeling an urge to find a store that sold anime merchandise, as I hadn't found any.

I did find one...actually we stumbled onto one! At the mere sight of an Inuyasha poster, I knew I had hit gold, and ended up spending almost 50 bucks. I got the following: 3 posters (2 fruits basket, one IY), 4 calender cards (3 of inuyasha, 1 of Dragonball GT) for one dollar, a CD case with 2 cds of inuyasha songs (booyah!!), and an inuyasha set of playing cards.

As you may have noticed, I love Inuyasha..and Fruits basket.

THen our last stop was a little hole in the corner, on Ross street, that made and sold fortune cookies. in fact, you could buy some and watch them make the cookies!! So cool. The cookies are on a conveyer belt, in metallic molds, and very hot. the employee takes it off the mold (their fingertips are covered with cloth) and fold it over a little thingy majiger that folds it into what we know as the fortune cookie.

*breaths in deep before plowing on*

Now, responses to comments!

To all you chocoholics: lol!! I found it amusing that some of you said 'chocolate yay!' and left ;)

Kevmart: believe it or not, there were police at my house that night I could get to sleep again so soon...i just didn't care to get up from my nice warm bed. Found out what happened in the morning though.

Daff: yes, it has been a lot of work. only one page left though!!

ok...off to visit a few sites ...tomorrow I won't be able to post much of anything, since there is a church picnic and family thingy tomorrow.
