Hey guys! How's everyone's weekend going? Hopefully well ^_^ Mine's kicking a bit of ass so far :P Right now I'm at the infamous Ryan's house LOL His friend Joey is here too. Joey's a bit on the....crazy side, but....not quite like Ryan ROFL
Alright, well, if I take anymore time on this computer Ryan and Joey say their going to gnaw my ears off, and I don't quite feel comfortable with that so.....I'm gonna have to end this post early :P I'll give ya guys all the details tomorrow I guess. Hey guys! How is everyone? ^_^ Well, I don't really have too much to divulge to you guys in terms of yesterday. I did have to babysit, but it wasn't too much of a problem. There was a 10 hour marathon of Brainiac on G4; that made me happy ^__^ I never got around to playing Dragon Quest though T_T And I doubt I'll have much time for it today, too; Ryan's due to kidnap me :P OH! And speaking of Mr. Calello, he did come over for a bit last night. We just chilled and watched a couple episode of Naruto (finished off the Gaara VS Lee fight). And........HE BROUGHT OUR HEADBANDS! Hey guys! How are you all? Have a good Turkey Day? I hope so ^_^
Yesterday was pretty much how I expected it to go down: Lots of people I didn't know, so, I stayed off in the other room playing my Nintendo DS :P I would have been playing Dragon Quest, but Mike's stepson's son frickin' played True Crime Streets of LA the ENTIRE FRIGGIN' TIME!!!! I so wanted to strangle him :P Well, at least the food was good; I made sure to eat until my belly was about to burst ^__^
I have a question: Do you guys like cranberry sauce? I'm seriously like the only one in my family that likes it LOL
Well, today could go either way in terms of being a good or bad day. I'm supposed to be stuck babysitting all day.....BUT, there's a chance that Ryan might be swinging by at some point, so, all will not be bad if he makes it ^_^ Hopefully he'll call before he comes, that way I can remind him to bring our Naruto headbands so I can take a couple pics of us for you guys ^^

A lot of people are making mention to me that the characters from Dragon Quest VIII remind them of Trunks, Gohan, and Bulma. Well, there's a very logical reason for this: Akira Toriyama (Mr. DragonBall himself) is the character designer for the game ^_^

Episode 122: A Chromatic Experiment
Hey guys! How is everyone?
Yesterday wasn't very exciting in terms of my actual life. However, in terms of my life as the hero in Dragon Quest VIII.....things were great ^___^ I've finally got Jessica as a party member and should have the fourth and final member shortly. I had thought that I was fairly strong, being able to obliterate all the random encounter enemies and whatnot.....but then I fought this undead priest/skeleton/ghoul thingy boss.....yeah....that was....painful. It literally came down to the wire, and I mean DOWN TO THE WIRE. He had killed off both Jessica and Yangus, only I was left. I had used up all my MP and healing herbs so it was just a trade-off of blows. He took me down to 8 HP >_< But, the divine God of RPGs was with me, and my final attack scored a critical hit and I killed him at the last second ^___^
I could go on and on about that game, but, I'm pretty sure you guys hate me for talking about it in the first place, so, I'll shut up now. Today I'm going to Mike's to help him straighten things up around the house for tomorrow *sighs*
I dunno if I'll bother posting tomorrow or not, so, I'll see you guys "next time" I guess ^_^ *huggles and cookies for all* - Josh

Another Tuesday, another theme :P I dunno, this theme might be up for a bit considering just how god damn hooked I am on this game ^_^ I mean, seriously, I've had the game for 3 days and I've already married one of the characters XD
I don't really have much for you guys today. Yesterday morning was indeed spent at the church. The afternoon was spent running around places with my mom. We went to Mike's for dinner (burgers!!!). And my evening was spent with my lovely Jessica, er, Dragon Quest VIII :P And you know what? I don't even have her as a playable character just yet ROFL
Nothing fancy going on today. I might get a haircut, but other than that, nothing on the agenda :P I hope you all have an awesome day! *giant huggles* I'll see you tomorrow ^_^ - Josh

Episode 118: You Knew He'd Say It
Happy Monday everyone! (yes, that was sarcastic :P) How was everyone's weekend? Hopefully good ^_^ Mine was definitely above average ^^
Yesterday most of the day was spent with Ryan again. And by "time spent with Ryan" I mean "time spent over Ryan's house" :P I had slept over and pretty much the entire morning was spent playing Dragon Quest ^^ And, we didn't even progress with the game at all during that time LOL Why? The time was spent battling/leveling/EARNING MONEY. The first town has some really cool weapons for your characters.....but they're expensive as hell....and the average amount of gold you receive from a battle is about 4-5 gold pieces. The grand total we needed was somewhere around 1000G *coughcough* I tell you, though: it was worth every second of it! The weapon I was able to buy the main character (who is YOU in the game, ergo Triple J :P) is a boomerang, which not only is capable of dealing FAR more damage than my sword, BUT it can also attack ALL enemies at once!!! So afterwards a fair time amount of time was spent going around and singing (in Excel Excel's voice) "Obliterate! Exterminate! Like Lord Ilpallazo told me so-oh-oh!"
We got back to my house around 1....only to realize we forgot to grab the Naruto headbands >_< And Ryan didn't feel like trucking back to his house (he lives 2 towns over now) so, pics for you guys are gonna have to wait till next week. Sorry :( And speaking of the headbands, there's been a change of plans in terms of Anime Boston: No longer shall I be dawning the attire of Akimichi Chouji: After realizing that I'll want to be able to SEE at Anime Boston, we concluded that I'll need to wear my glasses. BUT, Chouji doth not wear any spectacles.....ah, but what have we here? Yesterday I mentioned whom Ryan thought I looked like whilst wearing my glasses with the headband......problem solved! It is now set in stone that at Anime Boston 2006 your beloved Triple J shall be:

And yeah, after Ryan left I......SLEPT!!!! And that's why I didn't get to sites yesterday :( I'm sorry everyone.....please don't hate me T_T Um...here! *hands out a round of blueberry muffins* I should be able to get around to you guys later on today. This morning I've got to help out at the church (again ><) cuz we have to buff the floor in the concession hall. Episode 116: The Ol' Switcheroo!
Hey guys!!! I'm a little bit on the hyper side right now.....why? Well, for one, I'm over Ryan's house right now ^___^ Also, I have a bunch of awesome things to tell you guys! These are in no particular order, just as they pop into my head ^_^
1. Kingdom Hearts 2 is set to come out HERE IN THE U.S. by the end of MARCH '06!!!!! This is 3 months after the Japanese release, and in case you don't know, it normally takes a good 5-6 months before we get a translated release. I guess Square-Enix doesn't COMPLETELY hate us :P
2. I FINALLY got Dragon Quest VIII yesterday!!!!!!!!!! But you know what? I'm not gonna talk about the game.....just yet. No, what I have to say right now is not about DQ, but about the demo of FINAL FANTASY XII the game came packed with! FFXII is shaping up to be absolutely breathtaking; it's as if Square went around and surveyed a bunch of people, asked them what exactly they liked from previous versions, and then threw that into a pot of new ideas and a fresh story. I am completely blown away at how awesome this game may turn out to be, and this is a ROUGH demo they had thrown together LAST YEAR FOR A PRESS CONFERENCE. Which means, if this game is this GREAT from a year ago, how much have they improved it since then? MWEEEEEEEE!!!! I sqeal with glee ^___^ Yes I'm a Square fanboy and if you don't like it, bite me :P
3. On to Dragon Quest: Plainly and simply: I'm going to have a sore ass for a real long time because of just HOW MUCH THIS GAME KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nuff said :P
4. Ryan got us our Naruto headbands ^__^ I'd put a couple pics up for ya, but Ryan doesn't have webcam :( Oh well, when he drops me off at home maybe I can get him to come in for a few so I can take a couple pics. Now, I'm gonna be going to Anime Boston as Akimichi Chouji, but you know what? Ryan told me that when I have my glasses on with the forehead protector I look just like Kabuto :P
5. And finally, in Anime Boston 2006 news: The first wave of guests of guests have been announced; I am still in a state of complete shock at just how crazy-awesome AB is gonna be!!!

I have but one very simple point/demand to make:
GET THE FUCK OFF OF THE COMPUTER AND GET YOUR ASS TO THE THEATER TO SEE HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE...............NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And if you haven't seen any of the first 3, BUY THE DAMN DVDS!!!! OR, better yet, read the SIX BOOKS DAMMIT!!!)
I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and I say with the utmost of confidence that this is by far the absolute BEST of the movies. If there's anyone that wants to disagree with me (and I know there are a few asses out there) let me articulate my two points briefly for you
1. This movie is 2 and a half hours long......the book is 734 PAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you go into this movie expecting to see every little detail, then you're a frickin' dumbass. Yeah, they took some royalties and changed some of the story up a bit, but WHAT THE HELL ELSE WERE THEY SUPPOSED TO DO? The changes they made were necessary for pulling off a book of such a large scope in a 2.5 hour movie. If you go into this movie open minded and not dead set on seeing every fleeting detail, then there is isn't a chance in this world that you'll leave disappointed
2. Sure they cut out Winky and Ludo Bagman, but remember, The Lord Of The Rings cut out Tom Bombadill, GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, in short, if you're not a tight-ass or a pathetic Potter-hater, you WILL enjoy this movie and you owe it to yourself to go see it.

Episode 112: Yet Another Dramatic Cliffhanger
Hey guys, really quick today as I gotta get going. Yesterday was a long, annoying day that just plain sucked :P The first half of the day was spent over Mike's as I was checking out this old computer he picked up. Mom picked me up and we went to pick my sis up at school. From there, we came home, waited for my bro to get back, then went to the emergency room. For the last 3 or 4 weeks my sis has been having intense pain in her foot, so, my mom wanted to get it checked out.......a 4 hour venture at the hospital >_< And, yeah, that's pretty much my day. I didn't even get to watch any more Naruto :P
Today, I'm going to school with my bro ^_^ It's meant for parents to go, but my mom's going to be tied up, so, I get to take her place ^^ Should anything actually exciting happen, you'll be sure to here it tomorrow ^_^ Alright, I gotta go get ready so, I'll see you all laters *huggles* - Josh
