You know those days where it just feels like God or someone is toying with you?.........definitely the best summary for yesterday. Heh, now I feel like crap for posting yesterday that Wednesday was a shitty day.....oh boy......

A HUGE portional yesterday was spent reading. I read "The Silent Blade" by R.A. Salvatore from cover to cover. I had really wanted to get it done so that I can start reading "Wizard's First Rule" by Terry Goodkind. So, yeah, that was pretty much my day, just reading......I wish I could end it there......Well, come 3:30, after my bro got home, we took our usual trip over Mike's. I was sitting in the living room with my bro playing PSO when my mom busts into the room (sometime around 6) and says "oh, by the way, Josh, don't make any plans with your "little girlfriend". "We're getting a thunderstorm tonight, and you're shutting down that computer the second we get home". So I got up and begged Mike to let me use his computer so I could at least PM Kat and give her a heads up on the situation.

Well, the thunderstorm came alright.....at like 7:30....and was done within a half-hour....at 8:30 I got up, looked outside, saw that it was doing nothing but pouring, and said "FINALLY". I sat down at my comp, turned it on, and was just logging into my settings when my mom stormed into the room with a "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?????"" then she started screaming at me at the top of her lungs about how "the thunderstorms are supposed to be off and on the entire night" and that she wasn't taking any chances with the puter. I said, yeah, I know that, I can't afford to loose the puter, either. I'd have no way to contact my love.....and she just laughed at me, then resumed the screaming and demanding of me turning the puter back off.....I tried to reason with her, but.....yeah, I would have had better reasoning talking to a brick wall.....I told her that I wasn't gonna stay on very long, just until I heard the clap of thunder.....all I wanted was to talk to Kathy, be it for 5 minutes or 5 seconds....well, I gave up the argument when she chucked a book at my head....and she didn't miss. i've got a huge cut under my left eye

well, after that I pretty much lost all feeling....I felt like all the life had been drained out of me.....I went downstairs, put all 4 disks of the FFVII soundtrack into my stereo, and layed down on my bed.....and.....i cried....i just cried.....i was powerless....someone "up there" hates me enough to do this to me *points at left eye*......I guess I ended up crying myself into a sleep....cuz the next thing i noticed was my clock saying 7:45 A.M.....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the one and only.........HATAKE KAKASHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



MOTHERF***ER AM I WORN OUT!!!!! Yesterday SUCKED!!!! I spent 6 and a half hours working alongside my mom and Mike.......SIX AND A HALF HOURS of vacuuming, sweeping, and floor mopping over at the "Fitchburg Historical Society". What do I have to show for all my hard work? 1/3 of the split, $50 ^_______^

Well, there you go, that's about it. That was my day ^^ Except for the usuals: doing crap for my mom around the house in the morning and going to Mike's for dinner. And of course, I talked to the love of my life for about 4 hours ^__~ Woulda been longer than that, too, if I hadn't started falling asleep at the keyboard LOL

Yup, I'm outta crap to bore you guys with, so, um.....enjoy the rest of the MIDI (its almost 7 minutes long ^_~) and uh.....I'll get to you guys later on ^__^

Well, that glorious day has finally arrived!!!!!!!! That is...............IF YOU LIVE IN JAPAN!!!!!!!!! Yes, my dear friends, Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children is on sale on the streets of JAPAN. And you know what? There isn't a damn thing we can do about it. Know why? Because Square-Enix have their asses covered, EVERY WHICH WAY!!!!

Believe me when I say this, it's hard to find a bigger FFVII fan than I am. I have scourged every inch of this big 'ol internet, making my way through Japanese, French, Spanish, and German sites, searching, and hoping, to find that one glimmer of light where I could import the Advent Children DVD. Alas, up until yesterday, I had found but one thing for import: The Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children ULTIMATE Collection. Priced very nicely, at $399, quite an affordable price for the average American *coughcough*.

Now, I said earlier that Square has their asses covered every which way, and here's my proof: Yesterday.........I FINALLY FOUND JUST THE DVD FOR IMPORT. There are 2 issues, though. First off, let me talk to you about import anime, which come on DVDs (just stick with me, I've got a point). Depending on where you buy them from, you can usually find import anime fairly cheaply (All 12 episodes of Hellsing for $12, the ENTIRE series of Evangelion + the movies for $39.99). Heck, just DVDs imported aren't all that expensive (Ayumi Hamasaki Live for $7.99). So tell me, then, WHY IN THE FUCK IS THE ADVENT CHILDREN DVD $59.90?!?!?! FOR JUST THE GODDAMN DVD!!!!! And you know what? That isn't even the half of it!!!!! There's still shipping!!! AND if you want it to ship BEFORE they release the fucking movie here, you've gotta shell out an extra $20!!!! You wanna know what's even a BIGGER clincher? Back to import anime/DVDs from Japan. So far, EVERY SINGLE DVD I'VE IMPORTED has been region coded "0", meaning it can be played on ANY DVD player. Well guess what? Miraculously, Advent Children has been coded "region 2", meaning, that unless you happen to have a DVD player that can convert regions, YOU AIN'T WATCHING THE DAMN THING!!!!!

Ladies and gentleman, the verdict is in: SQUARE-ENIX HATES THE UNITED STATES

HOWEVER, my dear dear friends......not all hope is lost. If you're like me, and you're on the verge of death just trying to know WHAT HAPPENS in the movie, then you are in luck. I BRING TO YOU ALL: A COMPLETE OVERVIEW OF FINAL FANTASY VII: ADVENT CHILDREN, FROM BEGINNING TO END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



OBVIOUSLY, this thing is 200% SPOILERS!!! In basic terms, its like reading a book on the movie, written by a fan who saw the theatrical premier. Hell, the guy even has QUOTES from the movie. HELLOOOOOO everybody!!!! Looks like predition came true yesterday, eh? ^_~ What you see before you is Steel Angel Kurumi, one of my favorite animes ^_^ If you ever have the chance to see the series (THE FIRST SERIES, NOT THE SEQUEL....) I highly shuggest you do so.

Well, yesterday is a thing of the past. I pretty much just played a combination of FFX and PSO to pass the day until 3. Things went fairly well, I suppose. *shurgs* I dunno, all I can do right now is play the waiting game. The guy told me that I should here from them within the week if there's good news. If not......back to square one....and I'm about ready to murder the square ^^

After the interview, I got dragged along to Mike's house for a couple hours. Everything was made all better went I got home, though. Spent the usual 5 or so hours chatting with my love ^_^ (and her mom and sis for a bit ^^). And then, at 11:30, when I was heading to bed, Kat's mom came back online and asked me to stay on for another half hour......I said sure......and we chatted somemore.....didn't get to bed until 1 LOL

Today will probably be spent sitting next to the phone with my fingers crossed ^_^

Buenas dias!! How are you all? ^_^ Me? I'm NERVOUS OUT OF MY FRICKIN' MIND!!!!!! More on that in a bit.....

Ah, yesterday.....T'was such a blessing. I spent pretty much the whole day........GETTING RID OF RYAN!!!! WOOOOOT!!!! Yup. The anit-christ was originally supposed to move NEXT weekend, but something changed and he ended up having to leave yesterday. I got the call in the morning from him, asking me if I could help pack the last of his crap and move stuff into his new house. And that was my day! ^_^ Well, after I got home I of course talked to my KittyKat until I went to bed ^^

Now, back to my nervousness. The reason being: TODAY is the interview.......at 3.......*sighs* I'm such a shy guy......I know, I know, I'm pathetic, I've got nothing to worry about LOL But still, its just that I need this job so damn badly it isn't even funny. I have to present myself very very well, cause I can't afford to loose the job to someone else. Over the past few weeks, my want/need to get to Cali to be with Kat has kept building, and building, and building......and I'm at the bursting point!!! I WANT TO BE WITH HER, TO BE WITH HER FAMILY (my TRUE family) SO BADLY!!!!!! *tries to regain his composure cuz he can't go into the interview with tear stains on his face* Well, tomorrow you can count on me giving you guys a report on how things go.

"Haruka Kanata" - Asian Kung-Fu Generation

Alright everyone, being the HUGE Naruto fan that I am, I'm sure you're all wondering what I thought of the English dub. Well, I'm going to tell you exactly what I thought. I've read a lot of opinions about this and it's time I voice mine. Please, take the time to read through this, I put a lot of time and thought into what I wanted to say:

People saying that the English dub is completely crappy and misses on all counts just gives me the impression that they were intent on hating the dub from the start, JUST because it's the American version. People don't seem to realize just how many things this dub does right. Have you not seen how other shounen series, such as One Piece, Zatch Bell, and Yu-Gi-Oh! get treated?

1. Insane amounts of edits to make them "kid friendly". The blood nose sprays that were cut out as well as a couple other spurts of blood are the only edits I've noticed. NO BIG DEAL. We actually SAW Iruka get stabbed full of kunai! Any other company putting up anime on Toonami (this is not adult swim remember) would have totally edited those out. They leave tons of graphic stuff in. I will admit, though, it'll be VERY interesting to see how the events with Haku and Zabuza turn out.

2. Name changes. 4kids and other companies that release kids' shows like Naruto almost always change the Japanese names to something English. Take Yu-Gi-Oh! for example: how the hell does Mazaki Anzu become "TEA GARDNER"?!?!?! Just be glad we got all the names, and on top of that, they kept things like "Hokage" in tact when they could have easily changed it to "head ninja" or something stupid like that. I will admit, though, I don't see why they went and decided upon ditching the name Konoha.....

3. Elimination of Japanese culture. Other series aimed at kids do their best to eliminate any kind of Japanese culture. This is where I was actually quite impressed. Actually leaving words like "jutsu" and "sensei" in was wonderful. I worried so much about how they would treat these. I rarely see any anime on TV, let alone a kid's show, leave in the "sensei" suffix after a character's name. And they left chakra and its explanation in tact. Since chakra originates from eastern religions and philosophies, this is a pretty touchy subject that many companies would have changed to just "energy". *coughcoughDBZcoughcough* And of course, they leave all the Japanese text in everywhere, which many series have edited out.

There is so much stuff that could have gone wrong in this series, but it turned out wonderful. The voices aren't AWESOME.....but they are far far better than anything 4kids or Funimation could have done, and some of them are great. *coughcoughEBISU!!!!!coughcough* The only real complaints I have are the opening/ending, which I admit suck, and the botching of some of the pronunciations. They are kind of random about that. But its not a big deal. And for the record, I am not generally a dub sympathizer. I hate dubs and never watch them when I have the chance, so normally I would be on the side of all the haters. But I honestly am very impressed with this dub. People saying that this is completely awful and has no merit are clearly biased against dubs. The dub is the best treatment of a shounen series that I have ever seen. Hell, I can't believe I have to wait a whole week just to see one more episode! It would be great if they showed 2 episodes every week...LOL And dammit!!! We gotta wait 2 WEEKS for Kakashi!!!! ^_^

Whew!!! Damn it felt good to get that out! ^_^

I'd also like to point out 3 more additional things:

1. Ebisu had the best voice out of all the characters. Wanna know why? HE WAS VOICED BY CRISPIN FREEMAN!!!!! What? You don't know who he is? DAMMIT PEOPLE!!! He is my GOD in the English dub market. His voice is absolutely amazing, his best work being that of ALUCARD from HELLSING!!!!!! Avid fans of Adult Swim will also recognize him as Tsume from Wolf's Rain, and Amon from Witch Hunter Robin.

2. I've discovered something Quinton Flynn, the JACKASS who voiced Iruka....he's the same guy who voiced RAIDEN from METAL GEAR SOLID 2!!!!!

3. And this one bugs me LOL Tom, the announcer for Toonami, is voiced by Steve Blum. Steve Blum, does some voice work for Naruto (he'll be Zabuza in the coming episodes). In the anime, everyone pronounces Naruto correctly. So tell me, WHY THE FUCK DOES TOM SAY NARUTO LIKE AN IDIOT?!?!?!?!

Hey, guys. Yesterday was a really shitty day......didn't get to talk to Kathy.....

Played God Of War for a little bit in the morning, then ran around a bit with my mom. Ended up running into one of her friends at the mall, was standing in Walden Books for at least an hour LOL We came home quickly to pick up my bro and sis, then went to Mike's for a little. Came home for about an hour (tried to get in touch with Kay....but she wasn't there) then we headed out to eat and went to the movies. Saw Transporter 2. I guess it was alright.....wasn't concentrating too much on the movie......came home and waited for Kat until about 12:30.....she didn't come on......it's understandable, though.....she was helping out with stuff at her sis's school's football game. Well, I don't have anything set in stone for today, so I pray that we can talk today.

Like the MIDI of the day? Anyone who's played FFX should most definitely be annoyed by now ^___^

Tonight's the debut of the English Dub of Naruto......I'm sure all you fans out there are about as torn as me......Gonna cry and cry and cry when you see just how bad it is, but at the same time, love every passing second of it cuz it's your beloved Naruto on TV ^_____^ I don't really care how people take to it, just as long as it gets popular enough to bring the video games over here, I'll be happy ^^

Oh! I also got a call from Market Basket!!! They set up an interview with me on Monday at 3!!!! I really NEED THIS JOB!!!!

And, um.....Ryan came over and apologized (probably for the first time in his life LOL) and we ended up getting food, renting God of War, and crashing at his house for a bit, enjoying all the mindless killing of GOW ^_^

Now, you might have noticed a slight change with my site. Rather than drive myself (or anybody else, for that matter) with the same song everday for a week, I've decided to mix things up a bit. So, how did yesterday go? Well, it was literally split into 3 distinct sections:

Part 1 was me getting out of bed/showering/making my post/doing house crap/working on Kat and Ash's new stepfile "Shining Collection"

Part 2 kicked in at 11 when I went to resume the work at Mike's. And, quite frankly.............THAT FUCKING SUCKED!!!!!!! I didn't stop ONCE for 6 hours!!! Wanna know just how much shit was moved? Picture a completely empty room (his spare room). Its not that tiny of a room, about average size. Now, picture that room crammed so full of boxes and junk that you can't walk into the room OR close the door.....that is exactly what my hard work looks like. So, now that I'm practically crippled after the experience, how much did I get paid? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I got SQUAT!!!! That cheap motherfucker didn't give me a fucking dime!!! He never once mentioned "pay" to me.....and since I'm not one to impose, I didn't say anything....Well, he is like 58, maybe he's going senile? I'm sure if I complain to my mom she'll get the situation rectified ^_^

Part 3 came when I was FINALLY able to go home at 7ish. It redeemed all of the crappyness of the day. What did I do? Hehehe, I talked to my girlfriend, of course ^_^ There isn't anyone in this world who can cheer me up quite like she can (I LOVE YOU SWEETHEART!!!!) We chatted for like 5 hours until my arms started seizing up on me........which is starting to happen right now LOL

As for today......I think I'm going to be condemned to my bed.....took me 20 mins to get out of it and over to the puter this morning ^_^ If I move the wrong way I get this stabby-burny feel in my lower back......Guess I'm not cut out for moving big boxes and furniture for a living LOL

Alright, I really ought to shut up and let you guys go on with your life, so, I'll just say THANK YOU SO DAMN MUCH!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS RULE!!! I never envisioned getting 500+ hits!!! *gives you all GIANT huggles, cake, and juice* Goodbye for now, my dear friends!!!! - Triple J
