If...
That's all life is, really. Just one big IF. If I work hard this summer I'll be going to college before I'm 18. If I can get that done, my mom would actually be proud of me. If Erik would move out already, I wouldn't have to worry about all the lies he tells. If I work harder on my singing, I may get famous some day. If that happens, I could use it to help out my family since, um, we have none. Yeesh, what brought this thinking on? I guess I just...worry-about what's going to become of me. That's all.
