   What a week!!
Wow, I've had one heckuva week and what an end to my week, too.

First off... I didn't mention this before, but, Daddy went to China. He came back last Wednesday with lots of goodies for me. Like what? Uh, lemme see... Manga, Full Metal Alchemist DVDs, Neon Genesis Evangelion artbook and soundtracks, the entire series for DN Angel and Saiyuki RELOAD, and all episodes for InuYasha, a Final Fantasy series artbook, a CLAMP anniversary collection (CDs and books), and, uh, like...more artbook stuff for various anime. ^_^ But, the best thing is that he got home safely.

...then nothing else really happened. Until yesterday. My legs are still rather sore from it all.

Recently, my Graphics teacher, for some unknown reason, has told us to make a "commercial." Yeah. There's a class for that already: video production. Oh, well. I guess it doesn't really matter. It's just something a teacher can do; y'know, abuse his/her position and pile us with ridiculous orders. Any rate, my group decided to film stuff in Hollywood. Kind of like...show it off or something.

So we went yesterday. Got there at like 11 AM because we took public transportation and subway. First place we ended up at was some park in a shady region of Los Angeles. The park had a water...geyser thing in the middle of a lake. From afar, it's a gorgeous view. But on a closer inspection, you will find bums and creeps laying around. The water is completely brownish and has lots of litter in it. I even saw a 99cent store bag floating around. It smelled fishy. People kept trying to sell my friends and I fake IDs. There were ducks swimming, though...and they attacked one another. Must be something in the water.

Uh, next...went right to the subway again; we wanted out of there so badly. It was also the moment when my buddies felt the effects of riding underground. They complained about feeling funny in the ears. I just told them to swallow - it works, trust me. Or chew gum.

Hollywood and Highland was our main and next destination. We walked on all those star things... Bumped into some "freaks" and homosexuals along the way. We checked out the Kodak Theatre, where we were greeted by some dude decked out in a Dark Stalkers-like outfit. I think he was trying to be Morgana? Or that one bat-chic...can't remember. Never played. X3

{Sorry...image hosting thing won't upload the shot of...the person at this moment}

Hm, who else... Oh... Dark Vader or whatever from Star Wars; Johnny Depp from PotC; Spiderman; Homer Simpson (you can kind of see his head...plastic or not); some Phantom weirdo; Cinderella (ain't she supposed ter be in Disneyland?); some other dude from Star Wars, and that's all that I can really remember. However, all of them scared me. No, disturbed is the word.

After we finished there, we took some pictures of the scenery. Despite the place being very treacherous during the evenings, the place still held some elegance to it...well, at least the surroundings and buildings did.

Hopped back on the subway and made our way to Universal Studios Hollywood. Only problem with that place was that when we got there, the shuttle leading uphill left without us. 7*W&R*&U#WR)!!! So..we waited..and waited..a dozen more folks come..more waiting..and waiting..three dozen people show up..we all waited..four lose patience and begin hike..more follow..and we still wait while more people join us. Until finally, we lose patience as well and hike. Which...I kind of regret. Half-way up, the shuttle comes down to pick everyone else up. Damn. So we hike the rest of the way up. Damn. Legs are SORE. I also didn't take any pictures of that trip, so...yeah. Use your imagination.

We wandered around City Walk, being too poor to go to the actual theme park. We snack, go to EB Games, Starbucks, check out the Hulk and some gorilla, watch people paint. Hm...get lost in the crowd several times...throw pennies at the sphere fountain place...and yeah. At that time, my legs felt like giving out and they still do.

...then I come home...to hear that a football player took a nasty fall and...spine broke or something...died. My sympathies and prayers for the family and poor soul.
