I know I'll get backlash for this one...
Well, as everybody knows, I'm the guy who personifies controversy. (50% Buddhist, 50% Christian, for gay marriage, against Bush's proposed amendment, etc.) And here's another example of my attitude.
http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=130336
Read the first post, and be amazed. (I warn you, it is a very, VERY long post. But it is definitely worth reading.) Secondly, I'd like to reiterate that, being a blog, this portion of myOtaku (mine) is for me to chronicle my opinions and whatever random thoughts I may have. (Just saying this so that I don't get flooded with PMs saying I have no right to be saying what I'm about to say.)
By this time, I'm assuming you've read the first post in the above link. Now for the rant: First off, I know that the article may contain mere speculation, but there are too many sources of information (along with confirmations of my beliefs) to ignore. It's obvious that Bush has been using his position to enforce a purely Christian viewpoint on the United States, despite the fact that our nation is a democracy. At least, for now.
As those who have read the aforementioned article know, Reverend Moon (can't remember his full name), a friend and "spiritual ally" of Bush (both 1 and 2.0) is pushing for the United State's transformation from democracy into an autocratic theocracy (READ: A land with only one religion, with only one person making ALL the decisions. Look at Russia pre-and-post-WWI). And former President Bush called him "the man with the vision": very troubling.
But it also somewhat explains why Bush has been pushing the Bible's teachings on the entirety of the country. Personally, I find it extremely troubling that a religious group can have so much control (in secret) over a nation.
We'll see the confirmation of this article (and my personal beliefs) if Bush gets re-elected (NO, I don't think Bush is the antichrist. I just dislike him in the extreme.).
Let the hate mail flow in... Too bad my mail service doesn't work! PM will suffice.
If anyone would like to talk about the subject (I even invite the hate mail), then feel free to PM me. Or IM me (Battosai06), whichever you feel most comfortable doing. :D
Oh, I also found an awesome translator from English to FFX's trademark language Al Bhed, contained here: http://www.pixelscapes.com/twoflower/albhed.html So, to translate my typical Japanese saying to Al Bhed...
Edda ge syci!!! (Translate it twice, if you don't understand the Japanese meaning). GOD I'M A GEEK. (Is it wrong to not disagree with that fact? *ponders* Nope.)
