KENSHINS BIO

Hay welcom to shintahimura's site

Japanese Name: Himura Kenshin

American Name: Kenshin Himura

Age: Y'know what.. too many series.. XP

Family: Yukishiro Tomoe {first wife} , Kamiya Kaoru {second wife}

Himura Kenshin was born Himura Shinta in a poor Japanese village post Meiji restoration era. After his parents and the rest of his village succumbed to a round of cholera, little Shinta was raised by three young women.

However, one day, the women were killed by bandits. Before they could touch Shinta, however, a man named Hiko Seijuro came and stopped them. He became the young boy's master and trained him to fight with the Hiten Mitsurugi style. He also renames Shinta 'Kenshin,' thinking his old name unsuitable for a swordsmaster.

At the age of fourteen, Kenshin leaves Hiko against his wishes and becomes a hired assassin. He kills so many people that he earns the title 'Hitokiri Battousai' and becomes known for his ruthless fighting style and red hair.

As the Battousai, he meets a young woman named Yukishiro Tomoe. Though she at first is part of a plot to destroy him, she eventually falls in love and they get married. However, she is killed. As a result, Kenshin vows never to kill again. He disappears.

Ten years later, he is seen again, being whacked on the head repeatedly (Oro.. @_@) by Kamiya Kaoru. At first, Kaoru distrusts him, but as with Tomoe, the two fall in love and are married. And stay married.

They have a son named Kenji, who grows to dislike his father when Kenshin leaves home. Kenji too leaves.

Then, Kenshin comes down with a disease. Sick and barely able to walk, he drags himself back to Kaoru's dojo. She wants to share his pain, so they make love. Kenshin then leaves. In the time that he is gone, Kaoru too comes down with the sickness. When Kenshin comes back, he collapses in her arms.

Kaoru looks at him, then realizes that the cross scar has disappeared, then.. that Kenshin has died.
