  Wallpaper Tutorial part 1





Konnichiwa Minna!



This is my first tutorial for creating wallpaper in Photoshop 7.
many people ask me how I create my wallpaper. I hope this simple tutor will help U. I try to put another tutor next time.
This is first chapter to creating wallpaper.

1. Open Ur Original Image. I suggest.... U use scanned picture. Not taken from wallpaper. It much better to edit it. Because the resolution is much better. U can scan at least 300 DPI



2. U can select Ur main character and cut it by using Polygonal Lasso Tool. Just be patient to get detail cutting.








3. Click CTRL + Sift + I and click DELETE to remove it background. And this is the result




4. I don't want Red hakama. So I change it color into purple. Keep the selection on (Ctrl+Sift+I again) and choose Image -> Adjustment -> Hue saturation). And choose Ur desired color.






5. This is the result. My suggestion, just select color that U want to replace. Not entire character.



6. If U have BIG SCAN RESOLUTION, U will see there is many pixilated color which not balance when U zoom it. To make the color united, U can use this method. Duplicate the character layer by right click on Layer menu and choose duplicate.




7. After that, in the new layer, Choose Filter -> Blur -> Gaussians blur and fill in radius 5 pixel
8. After that, choose OVERLAY (top of the layer property). And that is the result (more sharper and all color united. I reduce this image quality in case I got trouble to upload my web. So the pixel is still broke). Just try it. ^^






9. Because it is too bright, U can control the brightness and it contrast in Image ->Adjustment -> brightness/Contrast
