A not so depressing update :D

OK! So let's start off with the drama crap, get that off my chest and then move on to more happier things shall we? So a few days ago I received a message from my ex Jasmine saying this: "I know things are better off this way. Without us talking. Just wanted to let you know I miss you and things with me have been ok. I still think about you a lot and even though you probably hate me you have still made an impression on my life. I hope you find someone that can make you happy. I wish the best for you. Sometimes I just wish you knew what all really happened but I know for me its a loss already so it's not even worth it to try to explain what has happened over the past few months between me and Ash. I hope you can find a better friend than her but I guess you got lucky cause you aren't here with her and don't get to see the real her. Not that you care or anything but I will be out of town for the next few days at nationals in Cali. Can't fight though I messed up my leg real bad and am probably gonna have to have surgry to fix it. =/ But it's still going to be fun. They have a Japantown. That'll be really neat. Anyways I have a plane to catch and I hope you're doing ok." I don't "hate" her...but perhaps things are better with us not talking to each other. As for the thing between her and Ashley..well I consider Ashley a good friend. Even though she and I don't get to hang out a lot I know that I can talk to her about almost anything (so long as I choose to talk to her about it. I have trust issues.) so of course I'll defend her. I'm just really tired of the crap that Jasmine's given me, so I'm really in no hurry to talk to her again. Also, she broke up with Tyshi sometime before she sent this. =/ Alright, got that outta the way. Now for the good stuff! Well as some of you may know, I've been wanting to move on and hopefully try to date again. So I've been talking to a few girls at work. Well, one of the girls whom I've had my eyes on for a while is usually a bit quiet towards me but I still try to talk to her. I know I can at least make her laugh haha ^^ Well, tonight she was way more talkative towards me. Even told me about this weird dream that she had and for some strange reason I was in it o_O She also asked for my phone number and email. So I'm hoping things will turn out pretty good. I think she's really attractive and she seems pretty smart too since she attends college at the University of the Incarnate Word...higher than where I go to lol ^_^; I had a pretty fun time with her at work. Only bad thing that happened was when she asked me a question about my father =/ I mentioned that my father was diagnosed with leukemia one time (conversation topic started when she said a friend of hers had that) but was doing better last I heard. She questioned about why I don't really talk to my father that much and I said it was mainly some "daddy issues" that were my fault and she asked what happened. I got quiet and very hesitant to answer and then told her that she had some customers (quite the scapegoat eh? lol) Afterwards she looked at me again and understood that I didn't really want to talk about it...which I didn't. If things go well then I'll explain it to her someday. I got a bit quiet for a while after that, but I was also tired so yeah =/ lol When she would ask if I was ok I would just put on a smile and say something retarded ^_^; Anyways...yeah..hopefully something good will happen.
