In case anyone remembers my rant on manga-style art earlier in the week, I have a follow-up to it. Just a little wuote in the page of 'em in Art of Otaku (early Christmas present from my dear mother). And no, I haven't finished reading it yet so I don't know yet if it's as good as everyone says it is.

It snowed today! Take that, global warming freaks! X3 Well, yesterday, actually. It is now almost 4 in the morning. Yeehaw!
I just finished some of the most wonderful fanfics... If you would also like to partake in the witnessing of their awesomeness, trek on over to http://www.mikonoda.com/. The ones I'm referring to tonight are "Falling Forever" and its sequel (Weiss Kreuz/Gravitation crossover... and it works! O.O), and "Mistletoe Madness" (Harry Potter". Yay, the first Remi-Siri fic I've read that left me feeling satisfied. Oh, and if you're an avid fan of WK (like any of my readers are... T_T) there is a little sort of inside joke in the sequel to "Falling Forever". If you don't find it/get it, I won't explain, because then it won't be as funny as discovering it for yourself. And the Remi-Siri was lurvely. It made me happy and sappy inside. ^_^ And, as I told Nicole earlier, it's tasty... LIKE A BEAN! A bean being Edward. Not like a real bean. Real beans aren't all that tasty, at least not by themselves. Except soy beans. Yes.
Happy Thanksgiving, all you crazy Americans. Be thankful that you, unlike any other country, get to spend today arguing with rarely-seen family members, burning your fingers on the stove while cooking, being yelled at to clean up the house, and pigging out until you can't move or speak without puking. God Bless America (take that, stupid Floridian God-hating fuckers! Mwahahaha!)!
Shit, I'm really bloody sorry, I cuss too fucking much; I should stop before I offend you bitches. :D

Goddammit, I thought I was deleting the OC post but the freaking check boxes are at the top of the post when you go to modify them... *confusion reigns*
So, any suggestions as to what Anime Club should watch next Friday? I'm running out of ideas. I've still got Trouble Chocolate and Weiss Kreuz on my list, but TC would be second-best because we just watched two other comedies (Cromartie High, Excel Saga), and WK is kinda racy at times. Not like that's ever stopped us. So. Ideas? Ryan was thinking Princess Mononoke, but I don't know anyone in the club who hasn't seen it yet...
I've got this super-awesome idea for a video game. ^.^ IM me and I'll gush about it (here the thought would just get jumbled and you wouldn't read it anyway).

Well, that sure as hell didn't work. Goddamn lying, evil Photoshop. When it says "View as actual pixels" it apparently means "View about 4 times larger than the picture actually is".
So. I'm coming to dread physics class most of all these days because of one Spawn of Satan named Cheyenne. And I mean Spawn of Satan literally. She's not just annoying, or has a bad personality--she's a really nasty person and I don't think she belongs to the same race as humans. She's taken to pointing out at every opportunity that I'm bi and that somehow makes me a bad person and puts her in a superior position. Her new nickname for me is "freak". That bitch. It never really hits home just how infuriating prejudice is until you yourself are the object of it.
She also seems to think that she's absolutely gorgeous and I'm fat and ugly. Also she enjoys manipulating people, sucking up to the teacher, asking intentionally overly-personal questions, and ignoring basic rules of conduct. I hope something nasty happens to her. Sure, that might make me a bad person too, but at least then she'll...have something nasty happen to her. That was kind of the point. Loving my enemies has never been harder, especially when my enemy doesn't even seem to want to be loved by anyone but her snobby self.
It's times like these I need a big Jenny Hug. *sigh*

A Whole Lot of Nothing, With a Dash of Irritation and a Sprinkle of Nostalgia
Okeedokee, I just got my regular newsletter from Akadot, and in the first paragraph it said, "Funimation sent us a 'cease and desist' letter threatening to shut down our site due to our offering imported Fullmetal Alchemist OST CDs." Can anyone give me the background here? Cuz last time I checked it was okay to import CDs and sell them if there wasn't an American version out (or something along those lines... I haven't read the laws pertaining to that area lately). For instance, I don't see Tofu Records yelling at Amazon and other, lesser online stores that offer imported Japanese CDs of things like Jrock and OSTs, or imported, unlicensed DVDs. So, my question specifically is, has Funimation already gotten a hold of the RMA OST? And if not, why are they being so anal? They've got the show, you'd think they'd be happy with the craploads of money they're getting from that, but no, they have to get their greedy little hands on everything even remotely related to FMA, is that it? Well, guess what, Funimation: Greed got killed last weekend. So you can stop being assholes now. If you don't, you will have to face the wrath of a nation of fangirls, and you don't want that, now do you?
Well that turned into an angry rant very easily, didn't it? Meh, I have lots of reasons to be angry at them. I forgave them for using only the Ready Steady Go opening, because I love L'arc too much to complain. And while Ed's dubbed voice is quite different from his original one, Vic is really very good and I think he does Ed justice (also I feel a bond with Vic--he did some voices for Kino No Tabi, which no one seems to watch, ever). But it tells you something when I get riled up over this OST CD, because I already own it. I bought it at Dreamwizards months and months ago. And it's a really good CD. And, GASP, it has the original first opening theme on it. So maybe that's their scheme, to keep us worshiping L'arc... OKAY! I can do that! Meh, whatever.
So, anyone here ever watch Medabots a few years back? No? Didn't think so. It was probably labelled dorky before it even came out. But it's just such a fun show. And while it's cut and the script is goofy and some names are changed, it's still really funny. And I loved Metabee's voice. It had such great attitude. Whatever happened to that voice actor, anyway? I hope Medabots didn't ruin his career... Also on the same track, what about Mon Colle Knights? That was another FoxKids show (none of this FoxBox shit-anime from the dumpsters in Japan that they have now), and they only showed the first season, and then it mysteriously disappeared without a trace. No DVDs, no video games, no reruns. Just poof, gone. The deal was, they showed the first episode one weekend and said, "Come to our website and vote on whether you want to see the rest of this season!" And the vote was passed and the show aired for one glorious season, bringing us such lines as "I get $10 a day and I get to use their trampoline!" and "You'd have to have tiny little teeth like a ferret." Another fun show that disappeared into oblivion. Sigh. Oh FoxKids, where did you go? Where did you go with your annual DigiBowls, and your oscure but enjoyable kids' anime? Who these days cares about Flint the Time Detective, or Medabots, or Mon Colle Knights? Who these days would think to combine Digimon with the SuperBowl? And who was it who delivered unto me the first bishounen I ever laid eyes upon? Ken Ichijouji, I miss you dearly. You sexy beast, you.
WHICH IS WHY THEY INVENTED THE INTERNET! YAY!
I'm going to go watch good ol' morbid Hellsing now. Yay, blood! Yay, pain! Yay, darkness and decyaed flesh! Yay, gothic sex themes! I swear, doctor, I've been taking my medicine every day. ^_^ Ciao!

It's been a long time since I last posted. I say this as though some people out there actually cared. Oh well. Here's the news:
-Last weekend I got Soul Calibur III. Gorgeous. Highly entertaining. If you liked SCII, you will worship SCIII. I know I do.
-I have a C average in school right now. This is not bad. It's actually a step up from where I was at interims. Here's hoping I make it to NYC this Christmas.
-My mom finally ordered the new DDR pads a while ago, and they came on Friday. They're wonderful. ^o^ Unfortunately, my DDRMax2 game is messed up. The games won't end. It's just the "Final Stage", over and over and over and over...
-I got 7 hours of community service in today. Only 13 more to go. Yay!
-On Friday in anime club we watched Cromartie High School (courtesy of me, of course). 2 people hated it, but everyone else adored it. I guess some people really are anal.
-It looks like i might not get to take my green belt exam yet. u_u Oh well. I missed a lot of classes, I suppose. I'll hang in there.
-I was sick in the middle of the week. That and my busyness are why I did not post. I have to work a lot to get my grades up or no Kinokuniya bookstore for me! T_T
And that is all. Have a nice day!
Oh, and Happy Halloween. Or, as I call it, Free Sugar and Wandering Around in the Dark Night.

Well, Kir finally died a few days ago. It was for the best, really--she was very old and sick and couldn't even walk without shaking violently. So I got a new hammy yesterday! He's a honey hamster, so he's cream-colored with brown eyes. He's really hyper and skittish as anything, so I named him Plue. Yay.
If I get my grades up (they're currently terrible) to a B average, I will get two wonderful things: 1) a trip to NYC over Christmas break, and 2) possibly a summer in Japan in an exchange program, this coming summer. I'm very excited and have lots of motivation to not suck now. Let's see if I can pull it off. *crosses fingers*

Warning: Cursing and Fuming Ahead...
I can't recall the last time I was ever so frustrated. Some God-forsaken program called Winfizer 2005 has latched onto my computer and won't. Fucking. Let. Go. AAAAARRRGH! A weeks or two ago I started getting these notification windows that said "Winfixer rocks! Download it!" (well, more formally than that, but they bore the same basic premise--to sell me stuff). I clicked Cancel. I don't particularly feel like downloading a program from an unknown source that apparently likes to try to stick itself in my Startup Registry. Generally not a good idea, no. But when I clicked Cancel...It didn't cancel. Another notification said, "Okay! We'll force-feed it to you then! Wheeeee!" (Again, not in those exact words.) A, IE window would pop up and tout how wonderful and useful Winfixer is, even though it doesn't appear to be endorsed by Microsoft, and yet another notification window would say, "All righty, your download will start shortly. And your pain. Your neverending, torturous pain. Muahahaha!!" (Need I say it?) And the donload window would appear and ask if I wanted to save or run the program. Wanting to do neither, I clicked Cancel and the ordeal would be over. Or so I thought. Until the next day it happened ALL FUCKING OVER AGAIN. EVERY DAY it asks me if I want to install Winfixer--so finally I did, figuring I could always run an Antivirus program and wash it away. So it installed. It ran, and found a bagillion errors in whatever it is Winfixer "fixes". And then it said that was all it was going to do until I registered the program for $40. I am never going to pay $40 for some cheesy Internet-based program that fixes something I didn't think could have problems with it, and that wants to be in my Startup Registry (it can be dangerous to let things spawn in there), and that doesn't know when to quit. The more you want my money, the less likely it will be that I will give it to you. Anyway, the saddest part is yet to come. I've installed the fucking program, right? So no more popups, right? WRONG. It still wants me to install it. Even though I already did. Fucking wankers. (I've been reading a tad too much BMB.)
That, and I read a review of Lunar Legend that said everything was great except for the unmemorable, plain-ol'-bad music. Fucking idiot, the music was my favorite part of the whole game! Maybe it's "unmemorable" because you have no fucking BRAIN! MAYBE THAT'S IT, YA THINK?! AAAARRRGH! I HATE STUPID PEOPLE! KILL THEM! KIIIIIIILLL THEEEEEEMMM!!
Oh, and I'm stuck on Katamari Damacy Make a Star 5... Any tips?

So, friends, I finally got my hands on Katamari Damacy... That game will rule my soul forever. It is easily up there with my favorite games (SO3, SCII, Lunar Legend, etc.). The music is fun, the comments are amusing, the King of All Cosmos is constantly on crack, and you get to roll up pigeons and crabs and doggies. Yupyup. Very fun. Go play it, children. Even if you have to borrow it from your anime club moderator like I did.
Whee!

Hey guys... I think Kir is going to die very soon. She doesn't look well at all and has been thin for a while. When I try to pick her up or even pet her she makes a loud, harsh wheezing sound, like she trying to squeak--which she never did before. It looks like she might be blind in one eye too, and she hasn't been grooming herself lately. I'm so worried. I want her to be happy when she finally dies, so I cleaned out her cage and gave her some treats and fluffy bedding. It's not her dying I'm most worried about, because all living things die eventually and I can't do anything about that, but her being in pain. I want her to be comfortable, and to know she's cared about. She's the sweetest thing, and loves people and seeing new things.
I'm babbling. I'm going to work on one of my novels to calm myself down...
