I'm alive. So is my dog. Good times.

School is winding down (or winding up, for finals?), and summer is ever nearer... I'm still thinking about applying for a job at Suncoast, but I need to know the schedule of my Japanese classes this year. Then I can go and inquire about such an occupation ^_^

So I've been busy lately, sorry. Lots of social meetings, lots of Sims-playing, plenty of homework, not a lot of news. I'm still working on various art projects off and on, so don't think I've forgotten. I'd like to make my re-debut impressive.

I'm also continuing to faithfully entertain the idea of starting a webcomic--know any particularly good free hosting for such a thing? I was going to try Keenspace until I realized it seemed a bit selective. So, any suggestion, please toss them my way.

I've now got a Photobucket account, so if I ever have a good pic to post, I can. ^o^

*starry eyes* The other day my mom gave me the greatest compliment I've ever received--she compared my voice to Hyde's. I only wish I was somewhere close to his talent.
So I've got a list of personal heroes. Hyde (lead singer of L'arc~en~Ciel), Maki Murakami (beloved creator of Gravitation), Hayao Miyazaki (you gotta know him--he's only an animation and directing genius), Yoko Matsushita (creator of Yami No Matsuei, and her art style is breath-taking), and Seki Tomokazu (my favorite seiyuu ever--Shuichi Shindou, Ashton Anchors, Dee Laytner, and a number of more famous but less unique roles). Now, I ask you: who are your heroes/idols? People you really admire and want to be equal to in talent someday?

;_; My older dog, Chuacer, an Australian shepherd, has been having bad hip problems recently and had to go to the vet today because she could stand up. I'm really worried about her. u_u

I did just read a very good manwha (I think it's manwha... correct me if I'm wrong) called "The Tarot Cafe", which Tokyopop has started pushing this month. It's great--gothic style, really sexy bishounen, lote of variated love stories--but very short. It took me an hour to read it, and I kept pausing to pet and nuzzle the pages (don't judge me, the Bible says not to :P). The art style is very pretty and it's just an all-around good gothic manwha. Yays.

I have a drinking problem. *laughs*
...What, have you guys never seen Airplane?
I just spilled a whole bunch of Coke all over myself, blech... *ahem*
I feel pretty, oh so pretty... And you know why? I got my hair professionally straightened (and cut)! It's soooo nice, I think I might get a straightener and do it often. ^-^ It's all light and soft and pretty. And I can actually style it somewhat. I'm wearing it in a ponytail as usual, but with two big locks on the sides, kinda like a character in a manga drawing book I read. But I'm not a ninja. Oh well, we can't have everything, now can we?

^o^ The other day I ran a mile in 10:20! That's the fastest I've ever run a mile. Yay!

   The Inquisitive Mood
I like questions. Here are some questions, for any to whom they apply.
What are some good DDR tips for light level players (to transition into standard)?
What is your biggest wish for future expansions of Sims 2?
Do people talk about the Holocaust too much, or what? It was nasty, I get, I ain't forgettin' it anytime soon, just please stop with the hindsight!
What's your favorite Miyazaki or Ghibli film?
Who's your favorite Yugioh character? And if you name any female character aside from Shizuka (Serenity), you will suffer.
What manga, anime series/movie, or game needs more fanfiction written about it?
Which is better: Sweet and cute, or ansgty and emotional?
Which is cooler: Angels or Featherfolk (SO3)?
Plushies, models, or TCGs?
Which do you enjoy more: Old Pokemon games with cheats and glitches, or new ones with better graphics/sound/gameplay?
Why won't my video drivers update correctly?!
And lastly, music by Japanese people in English, or music by Japanese people in Japanese?
Thank you for your time. *bows*

All right, call me crazy, but isn't there anyone else out there irritated by IE's overprotective nature? Sure, I don't want spyware, but IE has this annoying little habit of blocking files I do want. It's usually not a big deal, as it begins with all problems I have, but this time it's a little different. I'm running a site in frames, and I want to download something. It just so happens that its "content doesn't match its security information". Well, this, as i have said, is not normally a problem, but since the site runs in frames, "Show Restricted Content" doesn't work properly.

Sigh. What am I to do? u_u

Oodle Doodle!
Yes, everyone, COME SIGN MY GB! MUAHAHAAAAHAHA!! O.O I'm getting so many visitors! Did everyone else die or something?

So, I'm working on an upload piece. *sigh* Very pretty, but it's going to be a pain to color. It was already a headache to ink, there were so many tiny lines. Question: If an incredibly femmy boy (you can think of him as a girl if you like) with tawny brown hair and orange-brown eyes and a light, more-rosy-than-yellowy skintone were to wear a tank-top-like dress and a fine mesh top over it... What color would they be? I'm caught in the black/red scheme, and I need help outta this rut. Thank you for your time. ^.^

Oh yeah, new pope today. Not much to say on that, since I don't know the guy personally and don't have to listen to him anyway since I "strayed" from the Church. Too many rules... Now I'm getting onto a depressing subject, so let's stop, shall we?

A yaoi dreamer's favorite joke

Harry: You're a werewolf?!
Remus: Yes.
Harry: Are you fucking serious?!
Remy: Yes. That too.
Harry: WHAT?!
Remy-chan: Oops. Too much information.

Not safe for work, sorry. But you've gotta admit, that's hilarious... At least to those of us tolerant of (read as "addicted to") the crazy ideas fanfic writers get in their heads. I've gotta say though, that the movies are really killing my fantasies. I mean, in MY head Remy was pretty cute, maybe tired-looking and grey around the edges, but with a friendly face and young eyes, and then Sirius was a total dreamboat before Azkaban... And then I guess he got a little skinny...? C'mon, don't ruin my dir--pretty, PRETTY, I MEANT PRETTY, daydreams...

*sigh* I'm such a freak.
But I can always blame it on Jenny. ^o^

On a much lighter note, I'm going to take up skin-making for Sims2. If you've ever played the game (if you haven't, then you aren't officially a geek yet), and/or have any suggestions... Just shoot'em right over here.

Also... Ya think I should start submitting fanart again? I'm still trying to find a style I can copy/adapt best for REAL fanart, but in the meantime all I ever draw is manga-style and therefore legit. Yeah. So, yes or no? I've gotten much better since I first submitted stuff, I promise. ^_~
