Kurisumasu omedetou, minna-san! Merry Christmas. And a happy whatever-holiday-you=happen-to-celebrate-this-time-of-year, too.
My dad has some kind of stomach virus. On Christmas Eve! T_T But I think he's recovering quickly.
And I got a splinter that is stuck in my foot indefinitely... But it was still a great Christmas eve gathering. Lisa's present to me was a shirt from Hot Topic... It says, "I am not a stalker, your house just happens to be by every place I go"
Whee!

I got Pokemon Leaf Green. And now I'm broke, but at least it was on sale so I'm not in debt! It's soooo much fun. It's like a mix of the storyline of Red/Blue, and the quality of Ruby/Sapphire. So cool.
The only other thing I've done lately (it's my break, I'm supposed to be a lazy lifeless butt) is watch Fushigi Yuugi. They've started putting out individual DVDs so I don't have to beg my mom for a box set. *blissful look* Hotohori's voice... so... beautiful... Makes him equally as beautiful as he is in the manga with his flowy strandy hair...
Aherm. Sorry. Yes. Must be more professional in the future.
*huggles exo* You such a good fweeeend!

A lot of boring stuff... Or maybe interesting?
Hee. Hee hee.
It's not that I'm laughing at the Brits. Not at all. I wish I were British. I find it funny though that they're arguing over when to butter a crumpet--before or after it's been heated. Technically it doesn't matter, though if you butter it and then microwave it you might end up with a bit of a skin and unpleasant smell...
So, now that we're on the topic (assuming you visited above page), I ask of you your favorite teas. I like Earl Grey and English breakfast. Yumm.
Also, since I got an old Pokemon Red game for Christmas from a friend at school (I love you, Mary and Jenny!), I've been looking at all the glitches found in the early games. It's really quite interesting. Really. There's a way to get Mew in all 3 early versions. There are variations of it, too. Well, it has nothing to do with pushing trucks around. There is a truck, but you can't do anything to it. It just sits there like a lump. How blah. Why they put it there, I'm not really sure, though some rumor that pushing it does produce a Mew in the Japanese version--while others disprove that rumor.
There's also Glitch City, and of course MissingNo. and 'M. If you don't know about those, Glitch City isn't incredible but MissingNo. is useful and popular--you can find stuff about that easily. And... The little things --OH CRAP I MISSED FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST #$%*$%%&$##$%&!!!-- like getting into Cycling Road without your bike, fiddling with the music, seeing people on roofs and standing in trees, fishing in statues, finding Safari Zone Pokemon on the east coast of Cinnabar, getting weird Dittos, getting into SS Anne after it's "gone", the invisible PC in the hotel... *deep breath* Then there's a gazillion things that can happen during link battles, especially if you take the link cable out at any point or it is loose. "I once had an Articuno use Ice Beam on a very low-level Charmander, only to have the trainer send out infinite 0HP Charmanders that fainted as soon as they were used." Like that. Also interesting is this little thing. Geeky, but very cool. (Why the makers felt the need to have the game remember the stats of the last Pokemon you fought, I'm not sure.) But you have to remember when using glitches...Your game can and probably will get messed up. If your game doesn't completely crash, weird things will happen. I read about someone who glitched up his game and ended up fighting a trainer's burned Kakuna (burned before the battle started) which used leer, causing his Pokemon to faint after 5 turns. If you don't care about that though, it can be fun to watch weird stuff happen. Yup. ^_^
Does anyone remember my tea question?

Yes, yes, I'm still here. It's the holiday rush at school, so I've been pretty busy. >.< I DON'T WANNA TAKE MIDTERMS! ..No. No midterms for Tory. I refuse!
*yawns sleepily* So I've gotten into a new pairing. DNAngel, Daisuke and Satoshi. Yes yes, angels are all very nice and good, but Satoshi's just got that perfect seme look... Aherm. Yeppers.
I'M INNOCENT, I SWEAR!

Yumm... Red bean daifuku. Tasty!
So I spent today making Christmas cookies. Yes, very relaxing. Not very interesting though. (Though apparently I'm usually interesting... Thank you renkinjutsushi, I'm flattered!)
Yup... I was going to post something, and then I forgot. Uh, whoopsies? Eh-heh, eh-heh, eh-heh... Ellipses are my friends today. In fact, I just like using the word "ellipse". If you don't know what it means, go look in a dictionary so that when your mom scouts your history folders and finds all that porn she'll say, "At least he/she was looking at a dictionary, too..." And then sigh and ground you for the next five months.
That was an interesting tangent.
I've realized I'm far too generous for my own good. People take advantage of me, and frankly I don't even care. Today, for instance, someone on Runescape asked me for all my runes in return for a bunch of junk... I accepted the trade. I'm such a moron. ^_^ Yay for overly-generous and -compassionate morons! WHOO! W3 PWN J00!
Yes, I promise never to abuse l33t again. I'm sorry.

Wow, all my Christmas shopping is done. Phew. That's such a relief. ^-^
Over the last few days I got into some new manga-- namely FAKE. I love the series. Unlike Gravitation, instead of focusing heavily on the relationship emotionally, it focuses on physical interactions. It would make a better anime, truth be told... At least going by the yaoi. Gravi definitely has more interesting characters. ^_^ And Shuichi's voice is so adorable! I love that he did Ashton Anchors in Star Ocean EX as well, because it really fits him. (Can you see the hints of my crush on Ashton? Yes, he is so adorable...)
*yawn* So it's 4AM and I have to be up early tomorrow, so you may pose the question: WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING?! Well, mostly I'm thinking I shouldn't have had that latte... And also that there was someone to talk to this late (early?).
Also in the last couple of days (I've been busy), I finished the fifth book in the Discworld series. I cried at the end. Why is it my favorite characters always seem to "die" ambiguously? Siri-chan, now Rinci-chan... So sad. I just have bad luck, I suppose.
Well, off to bed with me. You can tell I need sleep because my spacing is uneven. Oh well, who cares?

Look at that, right in the middle of Christmas shopping time I go and make another friend. Dang, at this rate I'll never get done. ...But at least she can quote Shakespeare and (like me) doesn't know anything about Final Fantasy! She very much likes Naruto, though. We had an interesting conversation about Sasuke...
So, I'm on the look-out for Japanese Christmas music (in this case, Christmas sung by J-pop artists). I can find lists of songs just fine, it's actually getting these songs that poses a problem. It seems that perhaps the free music police are finally cracking down, or else people just don't have anough space to host big files like mp3's. Either way, it makes me sad. It used to be you could download just about any music off the internet you wanted with a simple Google search, but now I'm forced to consider buying tone of individual J-pop CDs with each song on a different one... What fun.
Yippee! I managed to waste another post talking about really boring, useless stuff!

I saw Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu DELUXE yesterday. It was very... interesting. But now I keep getting the theme song stuck in my head.
Have any of you ever read a terribly discouraging book called Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain? Sure, it might not be discouraging to the aspiring artist, buthere's the bit--in the very first chapter--that started to worry me.
"You will soon discover that drawing is a skill that can be learned by every normal person with average eyesight and average eye-hand coordination -- with sufficient ability, for example, to thread a needle or catch a baseball. Contrary to popular opinion, manual skill is not a primary factor in drawing. If your handwriting is readable, or if you can print legibly, you have ample dexterity to draw well."
I have none of these skills, yet I am not too bad of an artist. This worries me deeply. Science and philosophy has been proved wrong. What next? Will gravity suddenly reverse itself when the moon gets too close to Earth? Will tomatoes be vegetables instead of fruits?
It is a dark, lonely, and confusing world when you believe everything you read.

YAY!! My cousing Conner (the one from Thanksgiving) is going to go to Katsucon with me! And other people will be there too. Hopefully: Jonathon, Ashley, John (not Jonathon), Ann-Marie, Mary, Jenny. Others are possible. So you can see the effects of having loooots of friends--good chances some of them will go to cons with you and maybe even actually know what's going on!
So, in case anyone has any ideas, whom should Conner cosplay as? She slightly short, not thin, and has longish medium red-brown hair... She's also got this great way of making anything she says sound sarcastic and droll. (She's awesome.) Please help! I only have one possible guess and it's not very good. >_<
EDIT: Oh yeah, and I don't know if Kei from Twelve Kingdoms would do, but it would match my aspirations of cosplaying as Enki...
